Ooh look! A shiny new thread! Hello everybody.

I'm holding on to my hundo Eevee for Sylveon too. Hoping for a release later this year.

I will do that too I think. I need some more good fairy types.

I have 26 4* although some are duplicates (which, colour me ungrateful is a little annoying) and one is lucky...

the remote raid passes have been a bit hit and miss I joined one raid early on but the others (who were there) had to jump out for some reason so it was just three of us trying to take a reshiram and last week dd’s froze on the catching screen. Eventually she gave up and restarted the game, she went back on the gym on the off chance and luckily the Pokémon was still there waiting.
Remote passes are bit expensive when you normally get a daily freebie, shame you can’t use the premium passes as well - I’ve got lots of those.
Would also be good if the raid flashed or something in the raid screen if people are waiting to raid and gave you a chance to join them as well.

Someone on the Facebook group said that you can get back into the gym by going back in tapping on the bit bottom right of your screen and tapping on raids and then the gym you were in and you should still be in there. I also read last night on my Google news that raid passes now won't be used up when you enter the lobby, only when the battle actually starts. So you're free to hop back out again if there aren't enough players, without losing your raid pass - including remote passes.

thats better if you don’t lose your pass til the battle starts, we were late joining one, missed the group by seconds and had to jump out, the pass was still good whilst the same raid was on but once it was finished it was lost forever without being used

Yes, I had the same thing the other day, arranged to use a remote for a 5* raid, the others left the lobby because someone hadn't arrived in time and I didn't realise. Annoying to lose a remote pass!

@bellabelly that exact same thing just happened to me. We only had one remote raid pass. My son was so disappointed!

That's so funny, I'd love some of you to be closer to me so we could trade and meet for gym raids.

I did a remote raid on my own earlier and the button to invite friends popped up. Looks like it's not just limited to Level 40 players now?

When do 5 star raids change to a different Pokémon again? Will it be Rykurem (sp?) for all of July?

I have a hundo Persian and a ferroseed. Not sure how useful they are as not powered up enough. My shinies are all rubbish!!!! I've not really got the hang of raids at all. I can win 3 on my own no problem but find it so hard to be available at a particular time that the higher ones are tricky to work out! And I've got a task to catch a legendary which will probably take me forever!!!

@cudbywestrangers If you can beat the Rocket Leader Giovanni and catch his Suicine, that will count as a Legendary.
Or you could organise a five star raid with your pogo friends on here? I'd be happy to join if you send me an invite!

Woohoo... Am in my old flat in Bristol doing some renovations and I can spin 2 stops from the house - it's a lovely luxury!
I also like being able to send out gifts from a different place!!!

I think for a five star raid you would need at least four players to win. My local group tried with three yesterday and didn't win. They wanted to give it another go and I joined remotely so we had four and won. More than four would be even better!

Ooh, jillandhersprite, that's fab. I really want to move somewhere with a couple of stops and a gym accessible without leaving home!

Is remote raiding working now?

And I would happily join any raids if I see they're happening in time. I have my 3 remote raid passes still.

I should have taken a screenshot but didn't think of it at the time. I was doing a raid, in person, earlier today and noticed a little person icon that I hadn't seen before when I was waiting in the lobby. You tap on it to invite up to five friends. It disappears when the countdown reaches a certain point.

Hi Bellabelly I’ve just caught up with the thread after a while. I’m Poketwoboys and as you say we are due to go ultra friends. As you might have noticed I’m based in Switzerland so due to the time difference spotlight our doesn’t work well for me for coordinating eggs. Would community day work for you?
I have also added friends from lots of different sources so have lost track of who is who and where. My second account is Pokeboys....which my oldest DS uses.
