Shiny new thread.

Our local group had our first socially distant raid t'other day, there were 11 in the lobby and only 3 of us were physically at the gym. The bantz on the message group afterwards was funny though after I introduced them to a new word.

That's the negative side of lockdown, many players are too worried to get within 10m of another. There are some friends I haven't seen in months, and just a few I have seen to have a socially distant chat. Still, mustn't grumble.

Well I've used up all my coins on incense and have no balls left and I didn't complete the 50 excellent throws.
Well done everyone that did - i'm very impressed! I ended up with 41 which isn't too bad but I think I've actually got a bit fed up now with catching...
The good thing is the team rocket balloons
I've been sat on a task to beat Cliff and Arlo for months (I had already beaten Sierra) and I finally rebuilt my rocket radar this morning and Cliff turned up this afternoon. Didn't beat him but I've got a plan now for next time he turns up!!!

That's one I use to decide whether it's worth investing the stardust and power up any good catches Baroness!

@bellabelly IDK when the raid invites thing is coming but it's going to be awesome. I've made some Cornish Pokemon friends on FB so bestie and I can eventually join some raids in Tintagel. We go there most years and love it. I imagine they'll maybe only introduce it when the damage people can do with remote raiding is reduced. Otherwise it might all get too easy.

Those who save to evolve when it’s double xp, have you had to buy loads of extra storage space? I’m constantly trying to get gym coins to increase Pokemon storage and bag storage.

@SoulofanAggron it’s ok, I’ve done my 5 now, I’m a long way off the 50 anyway!

@onthewaves40 I do - I live near a lot of gyms though so normally I can keep up. I've got space for about 100 extra pokemon and I'm not opening gifts from people so I can stop buying extra bag storage. I don't buy much else with the coins.

I think that's why they release shiny ones and hat ones too although they want people to spend money on coins and the game would be annoying with pop up adverts. They said a while back that they're changing the coins so you can get some with tasks but less in the gyms.

I have 1250 Pokemon storage and 1400 bag storage and I still run out of space!

I rename the Pokemon I want to evolve to Evolve so I can find them all at once.

I’ve been getting the guaranteed encounter but this morning I also got the free box. Have they rolled both out to everyone now?

Who was it on here recently who was desperate for a Sinnoh Stone? Just got one as a reward for battling the Mystic Team Leader - worth a try? I do team leader battles to keep my buddy happy - it's CP is too low to use in proper battles.

@Corneliusmurphy you don't get the special incense in your items, you just get a special Pokémon show up with a solid white ring on the floor around it once a day.

@Cupidity - you're welcome,it was fun! I got a Sinnoh Stone too. There are plans afoot on our local FB site to do a 5 star raid this evening - very exciting! I'm really hoping that I can catch my first ever legendary...
