Shiny new thread.

Our local group had our first socially distant raid t'other day, there were 11 in the lobby and only 3 of us were physically at the gym. The bantz on the message group afterwards was funny though after I introduced them to a new word.

That's the negative side of lockdown, many players are too worried to get within 10m of another. There are some friends I haven't seen in months, and just a few I have seen to have a socially distant chat. Still, mustn't grumble.

Are there some weird glitches going round - I am sure first thing my buddy said 10 gifts but I only got 5 to actually send out. Also normally buddy will give me some more gifts up to daily limit when I use them up, but since the 5 early this morning I've had nothing... I love sending gifts daily as we don't go out much and got a few friends but if the buddy stops delivering I can't!

I get that all the time jillandhersprite. Says ten but then only five in items. I do get more than one lot per day, logging out and then back in often seems to trigger more gifts being brought.

Got my female combee! If anyone hasn't got one, it has an orange triangle on the middle bit. It evolves but the male one doesn't.
@jillandhersprite I'm Tallulah and we level up if you open your gift but I haven't got a lucky egg so if you're coordinegging do it when you're ready. I can't remember how many points it is.

hi @happypunky - i don't bother with coordinegging as I don't track friendship levels yet!!! Feel free to open or send when suits you...
I have a feeling I may have already opened though - as I was due to do my 7th catch of the day I used a stardust piece and then opened all waiting gifts. Just waiting for deliveries of more gifts from my buddy and I will send gifts back out over the course of the day...

Haven't been on these threads for ages, glad to see some of you are still playing! (I'm knittinggenie55).

Much excitement recently when I nominated my local park as a pokestop and it was accepted! Still too far to spin from the house, but lots more local than the next nearest. Then I passed the Niantic test and have started reviewing other people's nominations too.

@bellabelly I think we might be going to level up our friendship (I'm NoobTree). Feel free to open my gift whenever you want to if you need to put an egg on (just don't send me a gift till you do in case I accidentally trigger it) x

@SockYarn that's great that your new pokestop was accepted. What does the test involve?

You have to be level 40 on Pokemon Go.

Then there's a quick training video about what can't be used as a pokestop (temporary structures, private homes, schools etc ) and how to rate how accurately people have put pointers on the map. If you fail, you have to wait 30 days to sit it again and you only get 2 attempts in total. it's not that hard, I failed first time because I wasn't paying attention!

@Cupidity - gah,it looks like I have already sent you a gift earlier today. No worries if you forget and open it but if you can hold off, that would be fab. I'm debstonmon2.

@SockYarn thanks for explaining. I have only just got up to Level 32 so it'll be a while before I can have a go! A local player has added lots of extra stops since I started playing and it's so much more rewarding. I wish I had one I could spin without leaving the house though!

My boyfriend has about 3 pokestops from his living room and lots spawning all the time. He doesn’t even play it and I only visit him every few months and he gets pissy if I spend all my visit catching pokemon!

@Cupidity I stuck an egg on and opened your gift but it hasn't gone up a level.maybe it will if you open a gift from me? Or maybe it'll level up tomorrow. I did go ultra friends with Stephanievanjie who I think is on here.

@Cupidity - thanks, I will send you one later when I have some more. When I go to the friendship screen it says play for one more day to become ultra friends so I will stick another egg on in the morning - will aim for 10 if you want to co ordinegg.

Also Woongy100 and meepmeep29 - I think you are both on here. Looks like I am due to go ultra friends with both of you tomorrow too. :)

I'll put an egg on at 10 tomorrow as I think I'm about to go best friends with a few, who knows I might even level up to 39 tomorrow

I’ve finally got an incense. When is the best time to put it on? Is it too late to get scythers?

It says in the app that the bug event ends at 10pm tonight (UK time).
