Shiny new thread.

Our local group had our first socially distant raid t'other day, there were 11 in the lobby and only 3 of us were physically at the gym. The bantz on the message group afterwards was funny though after I introduced them to a new word.

That's the negative side of lockdown, many players are too worried to get within 10m of another. There are some friends I haven't seen in months, and just a few I have seen to have a socially distant chat. Still, mustn't grumble.

Thanks I now have a scizor. How do I get another metal coat? I have a shiny scyther to evolve too

So Pokédex, how many have you caught?

Also can I ask what the thingy does...gah cant remember what it’s called...the bit where your location is on all the time and it drains your battery. What does it do?

Adventure sync, what does it do and do you use it? I don’t because it drained my battery too much.

@OntheWaves40 I was still getting Scythers this afternoon so hopefully you'll get some with incense. I used lots of pinapps to get extra candy. @HighBrows, yes we went Ultra today. Not sure what that means yet- you're my first ultra friend! Can we invite each other to raid remotely and trade remotely? That would be nice.

I have adventure synch switched on and it adds extra km and extra candy. It doesn't drain my battery but I have got a brand new phone. (Yes, mainly because my old one couldn't cope with Pokémon Go )

Is there any gain to purifying a Pokemon? I already have the same one.

Chunkyrun, there's a special task that comes up later (,if you haven't already done it but I seem to remember you're a newish player) to purify three ( I think!) Shadow Pokémon. So I would advise holding onto it until you get the special research task.

I put an incense and lucky egg on tonight but didn’t get anything exciting. I just had lots of caterpie to evolve.

My task is to take a screen shot of rock and ground pokemon. I’ve no idea which those are or how to do it

Go into your pokemon storage area, theres a search icon tap that and type in ground. When all your ground pokemon come up go into the first one and two the camera icon. That's your first photo done
