Our local group had our first socially distant raid t'other day, there were 11 in the lobby and only 3 of us were physically at the gym. The bantz on the message group afterwards was funny though after I introduced them to a new word.

That's the negative side of lockdown, many players are too worried to get within 10m of another. There are some friends I haven't seen in months, and just a few I have seen to have a socially distant chat. Still, mustn't grumble.

Some pokemon are really common so you end up with hundreds of candy. So when they build up, save them and evolve them when you are using a lucky egg so you get 1000 points for each one. I save them as favourites then sort by favourite and do them one after the other.

Chunkyrun, when you have levelled up a bit, (level 15 I think) you will be asked to join a team, blue,red or yellow. From that point on, you can ask your team leader to appraise any Pokémon you have,so you can see if they are worth keeping. If they have low stats and are not worth holding onto, transfer them to the professor and you'll receive an extra candy in return.

Ok I've got Pokemon in a gym and some Pokemon have been returned. But I don't seem to have been given any Pokemon coins 🤷🏾‍♀️

I've hatched 5 7km eggs and got 2 alolan sandshrews and 3 galarian meowths. I have now got a perrserker but a bit more variety would be nice!

After being hooked on Pokémon go back in 2016 I’ve recently started playing again to occupy the kids during lockdown boredom, so many changes, so many new pokèmon!

I'm very excited to have got my first "lucky" Pokémon this evening. I traded with DH's account and both of the Pokémon turned into lucky ones!

I'm new to the thread. Been playing a few weeks and one of the tasks is to catch a ditto. I know it'll be masquerading as a different Pokémon but I'm having no luck catching one. Anyone got tips to find the little blighter?

Marshmallowkitty just catch everything!! I think there is a list (Google might tell you) as not every pokemon will turn into a ditto but I can never remember anything so I just caught everything. I remember a ledyba turned into a ditto for me...
I'm interested in the 'lucky' Pokémon - if it's just by trading though then I'll never get one! I've been sat on a research task for months to do a trade. But I have found a relatively local other player who is up for meeting in real life for a raid once the various distancing rules are eased...

Ledyba, gulpin, hoppip, and hoothoot are your best bets for a ditto.

@marshmallowkittycat - I've somehow caught 3 dittos this week. 2x in a ledbaya (the ladybird one), once in a hoppip. Also last week one in a gulpin .

Today I figured out how to transfer Pokemon and it gives you candy to evolve. Some Pokemon seem really hard to evolve. Hardly get any of those ball things for them

Current ditto disguises in the pic, it’s from a really helpful website called LeekDuck.com loads of info on the egg hatches, raid bosses and whatever events are on.

What are lucky Pokemon?

Chunkyrun, you can also get extra candy by choosing a Pokémon to be your buddy. Feed it 3 fruits and it will walk with you. When you have walked enough distance together it will find a candy of its own type. You can switch buddies when you want to.
