Our local group had our first socially distant raid t'other day, there were 11 in the lobby and only 3 of us were physically at the gym. The bantz on the message group afterwards was funny though after I introduced them to a new word.

That's the negative side of lockdown, many players are too worried to get within 10m of another. There are some friends I haven't seen in months, and just a few I have seen to have a socially distant chat. Still, mustn't grumble.

NoobTree - my son told me that Eevee evolves into different things so I have kept all the ones I've caught. Have only evolved one so far, can't wait to see what the others turn into!

@bellabelly - you can Google the names of the various evolutions but here's a list I copied (left is the Pokémon you'll get, right is the name you need to use)

Vaporeon: Rainer
Jolteon: Sparky
Flareon: Pyro
Espeon: Sakura
Umbreon: Tamao
Leafeon: Linnea
Glaceon: Rea

When you've used each nickname once however, you can't use it again.

@HappyPunky PokémonGo will be down in the UK from 7pm on Monday evening, until 2am. (so technically Tuesday morning).

@NoobTree - I'm not sure what you mean about the name thing. Are you saying that you can name your Eevee and force it to evolve into a particular thing? If so, how??? Sorry if it's a stupid question! Mine evolved into a Flareon but I didn't name it or anything.

You can also get a Leafeon if you evolve an Eevee (or more!) next to a Pokestop with a mossy lure.
You get Glaceons if there is a ice type lure.
If you walk 10km with an Eevee as your buddy, and evolve it whilst it is still your buddy, you get an Espeon during the day, and an Umbreon if you evolve it at night.

A random evolve of an Eevee will get you a Vaporeon, a Flareon, or a Jolteon. (I don't think you can get the others at random but I'm not 100% sure).
I evolve my best Eevees into Espeons, although Leafeons and Glaceons can be pretty useful too.

Yes, if you change an Eevee's name it will take a particular evolve.

That down time isn't too bad for the UK although I don't know what I'm going to do with myself when DD goes to bed.

@bellabelly there were a couple of challenges that Professor Willow gives that involved evolving espeon and umbreon but I can't remember which ones they were. It was to walk them then evolve at night or day.

It's not down yet for me?

We have it until 7PM!!!

I was reading that umbreon is good in the great league and I've been using one for that. I've been pretty happy so far.

You can only use the name trick once.. as I found out trying to evolve an eevee into a second espeon for some research

I got a Jolteon instead

I evolved my "Sparky" Eevee today and IT WORKED! I was so excited.

Please could DixieDee24 and Mundlet contact me? We are about to go Ultra friends and wondering if you wanted to co-ordiegg?

All updated, can't see anything except moving on to the next league so far!

Half my map has lost all the pokestops and gyms. I've uninstalled and reinstalled but they've still gone.

Oh no happy punky. Not ventured anywhere yet but nothing looks different on mine so far..

People who hold on to your gift for about 10 days before you’re due to level up, so they can be in charge of the triggering - stop doing it! It really winds me up! There’s one of you lot doing it I think

Woo hoo! Bestie, my 2 alts and I beat a Galarian Weezing! This is only the 2nd 4* raid we've done. We won with a minute to spare. Winning!
