Shiny new thread.

Our local group had our first socially distant raid t'other day, there were 11 in the lobby and only 3 of us were physically at the gym. The bantz on the message group afterwards was funny though after I introduced them to a new word.

That's the negative side of lockdown, many players are too worried to get within 10m of another. There are some friends I haven't seen in months, and just a few I have seen to have a socially distant chat. Still, mustn't grumble.

I think this might be the first week I don’t complete the challenges :(

All I am getting today is Turtwig after Turtwig. It's like attack of the Seedots all over again.

I'm still stuck on catching a ditto.

Is nobody else having problems logging in? Feeling very frustrated!

All the Dittos I've seen lately have been gulpins, which doesn't really help.

Compared to the Kanto, Hoenn and Johto tasks the Sinnoh tasks proved a little more difficult. I'd usually complete tasks by Sunday teatime, but these took till late this afternoon.

When does it switch to the next gen, fed up now. Caught 2 shiny glameow though and a shiny bronzer, result!

I gave up trying to log in and have just started again as a new player. So I am back to having no friends. If anyone could add me, that would be brilliant - my new trainer number is 4906 5847 0299 and my new trainer name is Debstonmon2 (I was Debstonmon before).

Bit peeved to have lost all the progress I'd made but went for a walk round the local pokestops and gyms this evening and have managed to get to Level 7 already and caught quite a few pokemon so am feeling a bit happier. Just hope the same thing doesn't happen again next time there's an upgrade!

@bellabelly don't give up on your main account yet! Niantic are renowned for taking ages to fix bugs. Also, did you put money on the game or play for free? If you put money on the trick is to kick off and demand a refund as you've been denied your purchases. You complain to Google Play too. Apparently this makes them pull their finger out a bit quicker. (According to various forums at any rate).

Are there Unova tasks? I thought it was just going to be the Champions Research event on the 3rd June?

I didn’t think the was anything special going on this weekend either - I assumed it was because I was closing down Monday.

Games really been a bit glitchy lately hoping whatever they’re planning to do fixes it.
Lots of rumours they’re going to make the game go up to level 50? I’m only 30k off level 40 as well...

I haven't bothered lucky egging since I hit 40, if they do increase the levels I wonder if it'll take your xp into account or start from scratch.

The miners have found a load of new galar forms so they'll appear at some point. I really wanted a shiny glameow. Oh well, not so lucky with shinies.
Just did a galrian wheezing raid after my group pinged me. I love remote raiding, don't need to drag the kids out to loiter around the community centre while staring at my phone

@juniloola you're lucky you have managed to find a remote raiding group, was that people you used to raid with beforehand?

I had to leave my local whatsapp group for various reasons, someone on Facebook is trying to start a new raid group so finger crossed, I want one of those winged goat things

Call for @popandcas again? I’m sooooo close to level 40 and going best friends with an egg will get me there!

@BaronessBomburst - thank you, thank you! My ditto was indeed hiding in a gulpin. There weren't that many around but I caught about 4 and then my ditto appeared

Hello everyone!

It's been a while since I've been on any of these threads, and they keep dropping off my watched lists.

I'm still playing, managed to finish all of the throwback challenges and have just seen the announcement for the champion one starting next week.

Haven't done a remote raid yet as our town has started up raid groups for each local area and I've managed to walk to the raid because I've been out anyway. Do want to try remote raiding though. :)
