What is it with the art?? Nook gave a massive speech about two days ago to 'watch out for dodgy art dealers'...so got approached by one, promptly sent him on his way, then Blathers seems to want it...

Is it just one of those 'take your chances' ones??

Taddda You mean Redd! His little ship comes to the secret beach once every week/fortnight/God knows and he sells artwork. One of the pieces he sells will be genuine, the rest will be forgeries. Use this guide to help you identify the real one, then buy it. When it arrives in the mail the next day, donate it to Blathers at the museum.

Also the Resident Services doesn't move, it just becomes a building rather than a tent!

I'm on day 3, just managed to get all the materials for the shop...so just need to wait for that to be built. Hoping the museum might be ready tomorrow as construction started on that yesterday.

Is there any more materials I need to be saving? When will I be able to build a ladder?

You get a recipe for a ladder when you are setting up new houses. If you ask people to live on the island, Tom Nook tells you to set up for them.

I seem to get the same fish all the time....(sea bass, black bass, loach, squid) caught a few others on another island (oarfish)...but does this change up? I saw the pp's post about the trout being available at a certain time (thank you!) Is there any others I should be hitting like that??

Turnip selling prices are they the same for everyone at the same times do you think?

That makes sense @Playdoughbum- I can imagine that's why the WhatsApp groups come in handy if they're selling at a certain price....

The trick with fishing is just to keep doing it. I can't imagine how many fishing rods I've broken - but it does contribute to several of the Nook Miles goals!

What are the rare fish?

Golden Trout, Oarfish, Coelacanth, Barreleye, Ranchu Goldfish, Char, Angelfish, Giant Trevally and Mahi-Mahi for this month, off the top of my head.

Ooo, bought some artwork from Redd, Blathers loved it and is setting up a new art wing at the museum- Nook might've been being a bit cautious, or Blathers is a bit of a crook who likes dodgy art!?

Either way, all seems good...

The art guy has been twice, not seen him for a while!! Have worked out how to not be stung though!! If you stand in front of the tree with your net, you can catch the wasps!!

I seem to have hit a problem and can't progress further.
On island evaluations I'm 2 star but to improve it says things are cluttering up the island and anything I don't need or use can be sold.

I've weeded everywhere, picked up all shells off the beach but I think it means items I've placed around like I've made a play area or I've placed camping things and made a camping area.

Or could it mean the items you had to make to build the 3 houses like the outside furniture which is outside the houses? I assumed as it was outside garden furniture and belonged to the houses.

Has anyone got any ideas ? I don't really want to destroy my play area or camping set up

Cherryghost I have no idea- if you find out do tell us. I googled and it seemed to suggest dropped crafting stuff might be a problem and things on tables/stalls etc

To get a 3 star island rating you have to have at least one item outside in each square on the map, not the edge beach ones though! Did this with mine and got 3 star rating instantly!
