Where do you get turnips from?
I noticed in the shop it says about turnips.

Also I have been playing a month and only just realised you can sell multiple items at once in the shop?
Can not believe I have been selling singular items and also having blathers assess each fossil individually

Hello, I've been playing about 2 weeks now, I'm now slowly working my way to a 3* rating so I can get the terrain tools (and KK Slider )

Daisy-mae sells turnips on Sunday mornings, I believe you need to have the shop before she will come to you're island. Also if you have friends check the price on their island as the prices differ, then you can sell at nooks cranny (but not on Sundays) their turnip prices change at midday but the general rule is buy for less than 100 bells and sell for profit, friends help as again they might have better prices than your island

Does anyone know when the ladder comes in to play? Theres a fossil up there (I think) that's taunting me.....!

Yes, when Tom asks you to place the plots for 3 new houses and furnish them, he realises you need the flowers on the cliffs for one of them so he gives you the recipe then

Redeeming and using nook miles tickets, they're fantastic for gathering resources as you only visit the island once so you can clear it out, it's also how you find new villagers, if you have a house available then they will appear, talk to them once, if you talk to them twice you can then invite them to live on your island, but if you don't like that particular villager, just ignore them and try again next time

@ashtyler the gold nuggets have now blessed me 🤗...two from a nook miles ticket visit last night....and I've got my shop, now bridge building!

I'm letting the kids have a go, then I need to visit some other islands to get different fruit. I only have cherries and coconuts(and some baby pear trees 🌳)

How does the visiting others people's islands work? Do we take our stuff to swap?

I'm building my houses and invited a resident, think they'll be arriving today...having a clean up ready for them..

@Taddda You did well getting bamboo island, it's quite rare and you need bamboo for some of the recipes. DD managed to get it and it was a real struggle to get her to bring anything back! She wants to keep everything in her pockets and keeps releasing fish rather than selling it. She drives me barmy!
