There's nothing close enough to our house either. A few players in our group have put mini-libraries outside their house and then nominated those. They've all been accepted. I'll post a photo next time I pass one. It's basically a box/ cupboard where you're invited to leave a book you no longer want and take a new one to read. They get used too!

To anyone that I've levelled up friendship with (mamamia2010) I'm so sorry for the lack of notice. My ds was playing and ran out of balls so opened all my gifts. in the same vein if anyone is sitting on gifts from us waiting to coordinegg open when ever is good for you. It's impossible to egg with this kid at home.

No! They always beat me too! The only one I can sometimes defeat is Grunt. I'm going to do my friends levelling up today at 11am. Apologies for lack of notice but weather is not as nice today as I was hoping, so wont be in the garden as planned. @rakyn hope you see this, I will msg you too.

Wow I have been on Mumsnet ages and didn't know there was a Pokémon go thread. I started it in Feb and am completely addicted, have never played a computer game in my life but love this....so much so I had pursuaded my family we would all love an Easter holiday to Liverpool for the Safari! And despite massive hints I didn't get the scholastic Pokémon enclyclopedia for mother's Day, so I bought it for myself for Easter and am happily ticking off ones I have caught. just saying hello - haven't read the thread for ages!
Still quite bamboozled by some of the goings on - but actually now I am a seasoned player (since October!!!) I can actually understand more...
Am a bit frustrated - not going out daily, and when I do its often with the kids on a bike and a bit tricky to spin any pokestops we pass. But I've got more balls than ever - probably because the gifts are so much more full of balls than before. I can usually do a once a week mega spin day when I get the shopping which is keeping me in gifts that I can slowly send out over the week.
Just a bit gutted that not really able to play properly and it feels like ages since I've managed a research task, eggs hatch or attempt an easy raid. Might be a bit more enthused if more features open up that don't need me to leave the house!!

Is anyone going to pay to do the special research during community day? I haven't spent a penny on this game, so I'm tempted as 79p isnt much.
