You come and post. Shiny new thread to which all are welcome. Including me, for some reason.

The Christmas event has been crap for me. I haven't seen 1 stantler. Was hoping for a shiny one with bells on! Did manage to get a shiny sneasel with a crap cp of 27 though. So I guess that's something.

No shinies for me, in fact I dont think I saw a standtler at all. I might have been a bit drunk last night (new years eve) but I swear I caught a smeagle (after taking a photo of my buddy)?!

I didn't see a single wild Stantler but managed to catch one in a raid. Not a shiny but came with a nice set of jingle bells.

Argh whenever I try and post with a picture it never posts.
Anyway, christmas event was rubbish for me. Not one shiny, no stantler with bells. But I did hatch pichu with christmas hat this morning so that's something I guess.
Not impressed with lapras as research breakthrough this month, or more blooming pikachu's in hats.

But (what I've actually come on to post) I have 2 accounts. On my second account (started last summer, lvl 31) this morning there was a "beginner box" available in the shop. 79p for 30 pokeballs, 1 super incubator, 1 lucky egg and 1 raid pass. This isn't available in my main account. Anyone else got this? I'm dithering, I only want the incubator.

If you reload (or update) the game it should appear.
There was an insane amount of shiny sneasels locally. It was like a community day. I got 5, others players were reporting having caught 9, or even up to 15! There were quite a few shiny stantlers in the group too (inc DS) although Mr40x did 60 stantler raids and didn't get a single shiny.
I'm less impressed by the new adventure sync research. Who the hell thought it would be a good idea to ask us to walk 50km a week in freezing rain, and when it's dark by 16:30?
I doubt players in the heatwave in the southern hemisphere are excited about it either.

Is that special research baroness or just the hatchathon? I can't be arsed with half of it at the moment.

And loom what spawned up the road at 10.30 last night. Just realised it was behind a locked gate anyway but I couldn't face going out then too.

Lol 10.09. My dd was still bloody awake too. She's 5.

Not seen any Wurmples today- are they in raids? Got a Pikachu and Raticate with party hat though.

It's part of the hatchathon. If you walk 50km you get 15 rare candies, 50,000 stardust and a unova stone as guaranteed rewards.

The wurmples are in 2km and 7km eggs. @doritosdip Of course, I've only spun 5kms so far........

Thanks for the tip. I've got 7k eggs from trying to get a shiny Pichu with woolly hat but they are going to take a while to replace with 7k with possible wurmples

baroness you dont have to walk 50km if you have adventure sync. It just takes a hell of a lot of shaking your phone 😉 (although as I'm only on 17.5km so far, I think I'd shake my arm off if I went for 50 by Monday)

I hatched this yesterday. Quite cute.

For the hatchathon event, is it 50km per week, or 50km over the entire event? It seems a bit mean making it per week. The event started mid week rather than a Monday when the counter resets.

I have found that doing crochet while wearing my Apple Watch fools my activity monitor to think I walk loads, so ironically I will be moving less in order to try and meet the target!

DS set up a sling once and sat kicking it whilst watching cartoons. He clocked up a couple of kilometres before we decided it was easier to actually go for a walk. It was the summer though, so much more appealing.
I remember hatching eggs last winter by driving up and down dirt tracks at 15kph because it was just so cold.
Funnel that is a beauty and I want one!

Regarding the 50k stardust reward, remember to use a starpiece on Monday morning to get 50% extra.
And feel free to borrow my dog anytime; 50km a week is not a problem when you have to walk her regardless of the weather! 😂

@jillandhersprite thank you, yes we have to be online at the same time. Do you want to suggest a time? I don’t mind when. Unfortunately trades might be tricky though, you have to be within close proximity. Might be worth joining a local group.
