No I don't need to do any battles thanks blueroses...
What I do need is some bloody feebas or magikarp candy or for a slugma or a grimer to turn up!!!! Or to start actually catching the dark Pokémon on the rare occasion I actually beat team rocket!!! I'm sure that they will come with time!!!
I have joined a local Facebook group so hopefully can do a trade soon...

@jillandhersprite I get candies from raids do you do many of them? Also I sometimes get one from battling the team leaders.
There's some on the research tasks too.

I probably need to do more raids and battles... hopefully get the chance now kids are back at school!

@jillandhersprite Hatching eggs is also a good source of candy. I wish we could trade as I have good spares of all those! Magikarp is a good old slog but walking it as your buddy is good as it’s only 1km per candy.

@HappyPunky Is tomorrow at 6pm any good for levelling up? My other friend can’t do the weekend and asked to schedule it with raid hour.

@Blueroses99 6 today should be fine. DD tends to get a bit awkward in the run up to bed time but I'll give her a biscuit - priorities
