So, I walked over 7km yesterday and not a single step was registered on the Pokémon Go app. I had a bunch of eggs in incubators ready too. sob Enjoyed walking ‘til legs ached but was disappointed as I ‘need’ magicarp candy to evolve for a mythical discovery special (6/8)

Why could the adventure sync on Pokémon go not working on iOS please?

✅ deleted app & reinstalled

Hope to take another long walk today too. If possible, share your ideas to fix this annoying glitch please. All suggestions greatly appreciated.

BobbyGentry Have you checked Apple Health app? Open app, click one head/shoulders icon in top right, under Privacy, click Apps, and click on Pokemon go

I want to walk to the other end of my village and take some photos for new pokestops one end of the village is bare. I just haven’t got round to it! We recently got a new gym outside my house though it’s all mines lol

I’ve been reviewing submissions too. My favourite so far was a photo of someone’s front room with tv and their feet up on a stool!

We’ve recently got x2 gyms and its so exciting! Can finally take part in raid hour and get 50 coins regularly :)

New buddy update, what’s this about.

Your buddy can walk about with you if your level 40 collect some items, boost it’s CP and stuff from what Iv seen

It's a new gimmick feature that allows your 'Buddy' to follow your avatar around like a creepy stalker To enable it go into settings and scroll down to the bottom and tap the circle so you get a tick then restart the app.

Oh yeah, you have to chuck some berries at it too.

You don’t need to be level 40, I’m l38 and my shiny Feebas is swimming around me!

Walked 27 km & hatched 🐣 29 eggs, need 60 more magicarp candies to evolve then onto freebas for another 20km walk ...

Mine is doing my head in already. I'm only walking with a riolu for the candies but it's running around like a demented labrador.

It's gone rather mad recently. I can't beat the grunt things - yesterday I tried and one of theirs was a 10,000 CP Tyranatar! How am I supposed to beat that and two 3000 CP Pokemon with only three of mine?

Just the Tyranatar would be a 2 star raid boss and I'd have 6 Pokemon to beat it with. I'm not bothering with those anymore which means there is no point in bothering with the other research tasks.

I'll carry on the day to day stuff until I get to level 40 (still 4 million to go!) and then quit I think.

I also play Farmville 2 and I see similar things going on there. The actual core game has become ever more diminished for 'events' or 'new content'. Actually, most of us are happy with a good range of raid bosses, fairly frequent new pokemon drops and the odd event, I reckon.
This shadow pokemon thing has totally lost me with the 45k stardust thing and I only bother doing shadow stops to use up potions & revives!

You need to have Pokémon powered-up to (almost) your trainer level to beat the Rocket bosses, as well as having the right move sets, as the difficulty of the battle is determined by your trainer level. My blue account whizzes through rockets as it's only level 25 and my Pokémon are mostly legendaries caught by raiding. My red team can struggle as it's a level 40 and there's still Pokémon I've not powered up yet. I generally only go to level 30 - 35 anyway in a bid to save stardust. That said, I beat Sierra with two Pokémon yesterday, and neither fainted. I love dark types!

That's interesting Baroness about the rocket bosses; have been nervous to even try on my baby-baby account, but, like yours, it's got mostly legendaries. Thanks to that event in the summer it's almost level 35 already and I finally got the foster baby account I took over from my son to 40. I don't have enough hands for all this & holding the dog lead!!

My gible shuffles round looking like my old geography teacher, checking we weren't talking or cheating in an exam 😂. Every now and then it wanders off screen completely and then dashes back when it suddenly remembers where it's supposed to be.
The major drawback of using a gible as a buddy is that I keep thinking a miracle has happened and one has spawned at my house!

That's interesting Baroness. I've looked through my highest CP pokemon and of the top ten all but 2 are maxed out on the CP so even if/when I reach Level 40 I wouldn't be able to power them up. None are legendaries

I don't have the knowledge of the skill sets to allow me to chose the correct pokemon so if I wanted to battle a leader I would need to print out the tables Betty posted upthread and see what I have in my pokedex that fits the bill.
