Do any of you have a Pokémon Go Plus, or a Pokémon Go-Tcha? Do you rate them? My DD has started playing and I was considering getting her one or the other as a birthday present...

I have the Pokemon Go Plus. I wear it as a watch. It catches mon with red balls and spins pokestops and gyms. My phone stays in my bag. I walk and press the botton. Simple. You only get one ball to catch, so you could miss some.

Ah, so you have to have a phone etc with you/it? She's playing on a tablet tethered to my phone, so I was hoping I could link a plus/gotcha to her account but take it out with me during the day while she's at school... Sounds like that might not be possible?!

I link the go to my phone and it has to be close to work - it's a Bluetooth link. I use the go instead of walking with my phone in my hand. You could open her account on the app on your phone and link the go. You would catch mon, spin and earn steps. If you are out during the day, using your 4g and your data, you would be doing a lot of work for her!

I got a Kyogre today, with the first ball I threw! I always seem to not be able to catch level 5 raid bosses.
I wonder What's next now the Hoenn event is over. I got about 5 slakoths and hatched another so excited to be able to get a Slaking, finally.

Oops! I forgot to evolve my shroomish to get Breloom with the special move. Annoying because I had a good one, but thought I'd wait to see if I got a better one. But I didn't, and then I forgot about the end of the event.

tumpymummy Don’t worry too much. Even with the special move, Breloom won’t be used in anyone’s battle party.

I'm thrilled with the new raid boss, picked up a "catch a dragon type" goal yesterday - reward is two golden Razz Berries!

I pimped my pokes. Evolved a dragonite and a salamence by topping up with rare candies, tweaked the movesets with TMs, recalculated my battle posse and found I'd increased my damage dealt by........... 0.5%

At least I won't look like a total nuub and when someone shouts "who the hell is using that shuppet" I'll just stare pointedly at DS.
