How does everyone manage to do PVP battles? I don't know anyone in real life who plays and I never know when you guys are playing. Wish there was a way of seeing if your friends were online playing.

I play with the boys. DS1 occasionally obliges but I have an account for Ds2 on my old phone and while it's a very much shared account, as there's only a few aspects of the game he understands, I totally take advantage!

Yes, Tumpy, I have 4 DCs who all play so PVP battles are easy for me.

I agree there should be some sort of indicator when your friends are online though, it would make it much easier. OTOH, I’m a bit worried that, in the future, they enable chat or something as I don’t want my children talking to people on PoGo. A little online dot next to the trainers name would be good but nothing more.

I haven't got an entei at all yet. I've just opened my box to fund a lugia which I can't catch as I'm down to three balls. I want to to hang on to those just in case a ducking freezing poke spawns from the sofa. 🦆❄️

Thanks baroness, yes I'm friends with silke106 so next time I'm up for a PVP battle I'll do as you suggest. If Bethhh91 sees this thanks for the battle today, got my sinoh stone. Funny that we faught with the same Pokemon, pretty equal battle.

Really would like a new special research quest, how long do we think there will be one?

I've only just got my meltan, so yes a new special research task would be great! The meltan one was really annoying in that Niantic must have known you couldn't achieve it in the time when the special Pokémon were spawning for the later tasks without buying more raid passes. It was frustrating. But I knew they'd have to provide a cubone & aerodactyl another time as they have such low spawn rates normally.

I think Jirachi is the next mythical one? From gen 3? So that might be soon
