Which pokemon will outclass it?
pottypotamus Most certainly Zekrom and Thundurus.
How much would the attack stats come into play? If one had an attack of 11 and the other of 15 what would that mean in real terms in a gym/ PVP battle? The move set does the damage so how does the attack strength work?
BaronessBomburst While it may sound like a simple question, the answer is extremely complex!
So when your Pokemon attack, they deal damage based on the following:
• The attacking Pokemon's base attack, attack IV, and level
• The defending Pokemon's base defense, defense IV, and level
• The attacking Pokemon's damage multipliers (STAB) and defending Pokemon's type disadvantages
So your damage is calculated by:
Floor (½PowerAttack/DefenseSTABxEffectiveness) +1
And when you know your damage output you can divide that by your move cool down to get DPS.
So TrueDPS = Damage/Duration
TL;DR To simplify it, the moveset does the damage based on the combination of factors above, so the lower the attack stat is, the less damage will be done.
A high attack stat is extremely important if you want to use the Pokemon as an attacker in battles.
