Shiny new thread starts here. Will it be the last one of 2018?

Ooh potty my kids are the same ages!
I got added to our local raiding messenger group so I got my first Groudon. Bless DD (age 4) she did it on DP's phone but didn't manage to catch it at the end. I'm hoping for some more raids over the week as some people seem to play all day!
No shinies and only out for an hour during Feebas so I got about 7.

I got a shiny swablu months ago, and finally I'm close to getting enough candy to evolve it!

Haha aww, my DS always want to join in as well. He watched me do a Kyogre raid this evening and was very happy when I was able to catch it, my first!
I've joined the local raid group too, it's just not possible to go to most of them though.

My local group tend to start raiding around 10am and go through until 20:30!
The target seems to be to get 100 of each raid boss, with the ultimate goal being a shiny with at least 96% IV.
Fortunately the most hard-core player is also the nicest and always has time for the children. He'll always leave gyms, or take them over to make sure DS gets pokecoins that day, and does trades which don't benefit him at all in order to help other players.
Some players are less child friendly and DS and I skip raids if they're the only ones there. There are enough other opportunities for us with that many raids going on!

We are due to go Best Friends with the next exchange of gifts and I'm holding off to use a lucky egg. I have another non MN'er ready to go Best Friends plus @putthehamsterout in 6 days so will probably wait until next weekend assuming putthehamsterout and I are on the point of going up to Best then.

Missed out on much of the Feebas action due to being tied up as mum's taxi for various dc related activities for the crucial 3 hours but did go to an Ex Raid later scoring me an attack version of Deoxys to add to my non-attack one.

This then completed a field research task of "win a level 3 or higher raid" which produced an omanyte encounter which I caught, completing the Meltan task, so all in all a very productive 15 minutes !

Also got a shiny cubone from a field research task completion encounter and had enough candies to promptly evolve it to a shiny Marowak !

I’ve still not had a cubone from a research task and am still stuck on that Meltan task. I’m obviously not trying hard enough 😂

Not just you bellep. I am stuck on the eggxecute and battle in 10 raids tasks. But then thankfully I am not in too much rush, yet.

I had a pretty rubbish morning last Saturday. I completed 9 tasks and got zero shinies. It was so cold I had to have a break at 11, I couldn't even grip my phone it was that cold. After a coffe and a breakfast at a local cafe I went back out. I did hatch a shiny Wynaut though, so not all was lost. :o
