Gutted I missed out on Feebas

We got 3 shiny feebas between the 3 of us, despite not being out much, so we're happy. Also got my first oh ho from my weekly research and hatched the most adorable chingling!

No shiny here either but got this rather nice consolation prize
The next completed task was also 117cp but unfortunately was 'only' 98.

The general consensus was that this feebas event was a bit of a damp squib I think!

WhatToDo can I ask how many research tasks you completed? I'm guessing you did the most! I felt the tasks were too long for such a limited time period...

JoantheVampireSlayer I think overall it was just over 35.

I personally found it really easy. Our town has lots of stops condensed into small areas, which definitely helps. I’d also set Magikarp as my buddy beforehand for the 1km distance to make the earn a candy task easy, had all my eggs in superincubators, continually walked and placed more eggs in incubators as they hatched, and I’m good at making nice/great/excellent throws quickly.

I was also out for the entire three hours to maximise chances Still no luck though! But I’ve plenty of candy to evolve my high IV Feebas’ and will have enough left over for when I eventually get a shiny (either through luck or trade!).

My first sinnoh stone in 21 days from the daily battle..

SneakyGremlins The only good Pokemon I hatched were a Chingling (my first! ) 91% Cleffa and a 91% Ponyta.

The rest were a mix of low IV Alolan Sandshrews, Smoochums, Beldum, Pichu, Igglybuff etc. All transferred straight away!

Wailmer ah ok that's makes sense why I've never seen feebas around. Don't live near any bodies of water. Will definitely keep eyes peeled when I'm near any lakes/rivers etc!

I was walking a Feebas when the event was announced but didn't evolve it as was hoping for a shiny. No luck there but I did get a 91% instead of my 89.
Shinies were very thin on the ground here. Only one in the entire group, and I'm talking PoGo nutters who all managed to pick up 25 Feebas each. no offense intended Wailmer
On the other hand I've caught a 100% zigzagoon, and a shiny zigzagoon, then a 100% swablu, then a shiny swablu. And slakoth keep spawning!

Well my field research was a 96% IV Lugia

Anyone else having trouble with battling the trainers this morning? I’ve done two and when the match finishes the screen just goes blank and I have to restart the game but it hasn’t registered the battle.

They should have just put shiny feebas in the game and announced that there would be some research tasks that awarded a feebas. There was no point saying it was an event because it wasn't really.
