@rupeomatic no worries, my fault for sending the gift yesterday. I was trying to do TheFrankster’s and picked up the wrong phone. I saw this first here and got an egg on quick so I got the 100k XP. I also caught extra xp from someone else who also triggered going ultra, so it worked out ok for me in the end. Sorry if you missed the extra XP, I’ve done it myself and it’s annoying. Here’s to going best friends in a couple of months?

Do they work like normal raids ie if we fail first time, can I go back in? Or do you only get one shot?

pottypotamus Yes, you could go back in. However, usually so many people turn up to an ex-raid that the boss is beaten in a quarter of the time. I’ve never been in a group that’s failed and had to try again.

I went to catch a mankey for it to only turn out to be a ditto! So I am now finally on the next meltan task and need to catch 10 steel types.

Haha yes I was worrying for no reason, it was my first EX raid. There were about 20 people and it took less than 30 secs!
Was still on my first 'mon!
Next time I won't spend ages researching which counters are good against an EX boss.

DS has found both this and the previous thread and has gone through adding trainer codes to all his accounts.

SilkeCat a couple of times a week.
SquidHampton probably only once a week.
So feel free not to accept the friend request if you prefer more active accounts.

No, I broke my phone and didnt bother re-installing it... a year later I cant remember the username or password and Niantec are no use so Ive given up and started again.

Potty- lots of high level trainers in our group solo'ed Deoxys. It will probably be harder when they release him as a general T5 Raid Boss like they did with Mewtwo but enjoy how easy it is.

@BaronessBomburst I got confused with which day community was 😳. I'm away in Spain for the weekend so my brain is all over the place. I can pop an egg on tomorrow if you tell me what time but it's not the end of the world if I miss it.
