Well, I haven't got Meltan yet, but I didn't/ did get him yesterday when after trawling the town yet again DS and I found two stops with anorith reward tasks.
Catching the 7 Pokémon took around half an hour.
Looking at all the XP, I might actually wait until I put an egg on for community day. I'm sure I can hold out another week as I've already gone this long!

Ooh nice one baroness. I've got one Kabuto task (catch 10 ice type...just as they all disappear and hoping to find an anorith one tomorrow, kids permitting. DP would like to apologise for not gifting as much, he's v busy at work and changed offices so no longer sitting on a pokestop (he's MCFB).

Does anyone know much about raids and how they drop/start? There have been loads of level 2 raids today (that I couldn't get to) but in the evening they seem to level up. Wondered if that was a thing or just a coincidence.

Also, just out of interest, are you all gold in many gyms?

Hi folks, so rl has got in the way of pogo! I'm currently recovering from a heart attack some of you may remember I usually play with my 8 yr old ds who has asd amongst other things. As he hasn't been able to access our account on my phone while I've been in hospital. His sister has set him up with an account of his own. I was hoping some of you lovely people would mind adding him as a friend? He is using an old phone without a sim so can't get gifts all the time. But once I'm up and about again I will work out how we can switch between accounts on my phone while we are out to allow him to spin stops etc. Thank you to you all in advance his trainer code is7051 1066 8409.

Yes, it has been a main goal of mine for a long time to be gold on every gym in our town. We have 26 and I am gold on 24 of them

BTW, when you’re feeling up to it and if you have a decent amount of data, you can put up a hotspot on your phone so that your son can use your internet’s access on his and then you can both play at the same time.

I got my 5 exeggcute! Finally! Completed that task, evolved my awaiting Drowzee, evolved my Scyther and when I got home this afternoon a Cubone was there in its spawn point! Two tasks finished within an hour of each other. Just got to find lilleeps, anorith, kabuto and omanyte now. Spun over ten stops today and haven’t found the appropriate tasks. Wondering if I’ll be able to catch them in the wild.

Also does anyone know what this task might be? It’s obviously glitched but not sure whether to delete or not or if someone knows what it should be?

I can't find the cubone task! I spun so many stops today but no! @pottypotamus yes to community day egg, but I've reached my limit on opening gifts today and we need to interact today I think to be in time. I've sent you a gift so I hope you can open it.

I think I've not understood how the friend interaction works. If it says 4 days until I become Ultra friends with someone, does it mean 4 days from that date or 4 days of interaction between us ie gifts exchanged? I've gone Ultra with a couple of people by mistake but don't know how its happened as I thought I was keeping track of dates. I live in/at a Pokestops so I'm not usually short of gifts

loobylou1967 It’s four days of interaction; the actual dates/days are irrelevant. If neither of you interacts (gift/trade/battle/raid) for a week it will stay at four days.

When it says 1 day, if there is a blue highlight/shadow behind the other trainer then you have already interacted that day and you will level up on the next interaction eg. tomorrow. If there is no blue shadow/highlight behind the trainer and it says 1 day, you will level up as soon as either of you interacts eg. today.

Thank you Wailmer! It had changed this morning when I checked, glad I didn’t get rid, I need anorith! Plus it’s at a stop near my house so hopefully can get this task twice to complete that part of the research.

Morning, quick question re: EX raids.

Do they work like normal raids ie if we fail first time, can I go back in? Or do you only get one shot?
