Catching lots this morning. I’m also overflowing with Spindas now though. Can’t bring myself to get rid!

Opened 20 gifts and not a single pinap berry

I tried to avoid opening gifts when I had an egg spot before but today I made sure I hatched a load of eggs so I could have gift ones. Only got an egg out of half of them. Its normally a 100% hit rate when I don't want one!

DD has been in need of potions recently and not getting many from stops or gifts. I've been overflowing with them.

I'm the same with lack of balls! This has reminded me that Kanto really is the best gen.

It's also that the Kanto mons form the basis of the some of the more quality attackers when powered up/evolved. Apart from Tyranitar, some of the biggest meta players (Blissey, Golem, Machamp, Gengar etc.) are primarily Kanto-origin.

Argh! Let the kids catch some mons in the car and they spun loads of poke stops despite being told not to! All my empty slots are now filled with 2k eggs.

Can anybody me tell me which candies we should be saving for when gen 4 finally comes?

I am loving this event so far. Caught a Hitmonchan today and LOVE seeing bulbies in the wild. It's my fave.

I caught a wild Chancey today and a few Porygon. Used to see old Pory quite a bit back in the day!

I like the bountiful kanto pokemon but I've found I've not really kept many of them, they are really terrible levels, most of them! So I've ditched all but a few and just caught them for the candy with a hope of finding a high CP and/or level. I've not got a nidoqueen yet as all of the ones I've ever caught have been rubbish so I really hope I can get a good one!

Pick A Chew I only ever get excellent throws when I’m not really paying attention. I got mine for Celebi while in the queue to pay at Old Navy.

What's everyone's gaps for kanto? I just have:

• Farfetch'd
• Kangastan
• Mewtoo
• Moltres
• Tauros I'm not sure how I can get a Moltres or Mewtoo given that I haven't had an Ex Raid invite and I don't do raids of level 3 or above. Hopefully I can trade one one day. Went through the Gen VI pokemon with my children, can't wait for all of those!

Liking the kanto pokemon everywhere just because it's a nice change to catch a dodrio rather than a whismur. Only one I need is Kangastan so walking those eggs, then I'm complete!

I have to say that Kanto are the best and it's my favourite festival.

Will there be a community day in October?

I just need Tauros and Mewtwo. I don't raid much though so that rules out Mewtwo for now.
I got Kanga and Farfetched in the events.
I love Farfetched - it's Japanese name comes from a Japanese saying about the duck that brings it's own onions - as in, a bit of an idiot!

I need Kangaskhan and Tauros to complete the Kanto Dex. Hopefully I can trade Tauros next weekend as a friend is in the US. Fingers crossed her flight isn't disrupted by Hurricane Florence.
