SirNilsOlav - I knew I couldn't be the only one! Love the Mini chansey, snorlax and those shiny mareeps! I hope at some point you'll have the candies to evolve one of them?

I love that there are so many different ways to play this game, and you can to some extent set your own targets, e.g. to only keep above 90%, or to seek out mini'mon.

Lost you all briefly. I'm strangely getting excited about the prospect of hatching a Tauros. Or a Kanga. Though still no snowy vulpix so not sure why!

I've now collected Diglett, Geodude, Meowth, vulpix & Sandshrew. I just need grimer.

Monday55 Wild Pokemon are very rarely good Pokemon; you have a much better chance of getting a high IV Pokemon from eggs and raids than you do of catching them in the wild.

Weather boosted Pokemon have a higher chance of better IVs, but even still, they will rarely be as good as egg or raid Pokemon.

You will have the chance to hatch any Gen I regional in 7km eggs

BouleBaker You only want to use them on high IV Pokemon you’ll be battling with; so high IV legendaries, Tyrannitar, Dragonite, Gyarados etc.

The ideal movesets for each Pokemon depends entirely on how you’ll use it.

Some countries don't have access to any of the gen 1 regionals and have never had access to them through events so I think it's about everyone finally getting everything.

I’m looking forward to the event - after hatching 3 Trapinches in a row from 10k eggs, I’d even put up with a Mr Mime! The Kanto event will hopefully persuade DH to play his account.

I wanted to ask, those of you that were getting my Latvian eggs, did you hatch anything decent? I picked up quite a few good eggs whilst there, bagons, mareeps and a chansey, noneof which I ever hatch or catch in the wild here.

dillite Until now, only Alolan Pokemon were in gift eggs and it didn’t matter where in the world you received or sent them from; they were hatching from the same small pool.

The only advantage to foreign eggs is the distance for your trade medal.

what, I know that. But I was wondering whether maybe there were more vulpix or even grimer hatches, as those, for me personally, are rare hatches from alolan eggs.

dillite Ahh okay Alolan Vulpix is especially rare with only a 3.16% chance of hatch, whereas Grimer is 15.3%.

Lots of news with this event so I’ll bullet point them:

• New raid bosses! I’ve attached an infographic

• Increased Kanto spawns

• Shiny Geodude and Shiny Grimer are now available in game

• Raid eggs are now eggs for only 15 minutes, then they have a 1 hour and 30 minute timer

• I’ve also attached an infographic of the soloable Level 3 raid bosses and what Pokemon with which movesets you need to beat them

Thanks WhatToDo. I guess for those Solo guides, the assumption is that you will be battling with a minimum of a lvl 30 Mon?

Also, poor old Regirock. Can't see him getting much of a look in now for raids 😆

I'm struggling with grimer too, I keep getting Meowth and Diglett.

Dillite many thanks for the gift! Being a saddo, I had an egg space, went through gift list to sort out foreign ones, even checked on google which was the furthest away, opened yours (presume it was yours!) and received.... stardust! Darn it!
Over the past few weeks I've been avoiding alolan eggs and my items box has been overflowing & have been more than grateful when the gift just contained stardust. Really is Sod's Law! Someone in my group hatched a Mr Mime earlier; Sod really likes playing with us!
