I got a shiny Omanyte in my livingroom yesterday. Not to sound ungrateful but I'm underwhelmed by it. I want a red Gary!!!! Wawwwww!!!

I’ve caught over 14,600 Pokemon have 68 shinies altogher.

Of those, 19 are non-event shinies and the other 49 shinies are from community days or the articuno/zapdos days.

I don’t always catch everything, but if I know a Pokemon has a shiny form I will always click on it just in case it is shiny.

Ive played since day 1 and only have one shiney! How can you see how many you have caught?

Think I’ve found the number in a medal, is that right? If so I’ve caught 6,035 and one shiny!

I’ve caught 10,766. I’ve caught 3 shinies outside of community days - Murkrow, Wailmer and Swablu.

I do that too. I've not got that many shinies, considering how many Pokémon I've caught!

So, so excited!! Got a Lapras finally. Since Pokemon Go started, I've only ever seen one. Saw the shadow of one yesterday, got it for real today. Now hoping hte two eggs are Farfetchd and Tauros...

I've caught this many pokemon and have quite a lot of community day shinies.

In addition to that I have swablu, magikarp, pineco, houndour, mahukita and hariyama, aron, meditite, luvdisc, kyogre, wingull, plusle and minun.

Is that a shiny grimer!!!!!!!! Jeepers!!!!!!!!

I’ve had a great batch of eggs hatch - for 2 Kangas, a Tauros and a snowy Vulpix. No Mr Mimes yet! Just need Mewtwo and my Kanto dex is complete.

In the spirit of getting shinies right after talking about them

How I’d love to live at a pokestop! I stay in hotels a lot for work and it’s great when my room is above a pokestop, in fact I’m hotels I stay in regularly I have on occasion been known to request a specific room just for that reason

I've complained on here before that I do really badly on the shiny front. I've caught 19,811. I finally got my first shiny a couple of weeks ago - a wingull.

The flat I lived in when at university is right next to a Pokestop and a gym. I have a stop nearby where I live now that I occasionally can spin with GPS drift.
