trapinch No. I only keep Pokemon that are either worth battling with, good for trade or over 90% IVs. Everything else gets chucked as I just don’t have the room.

You know I said I caught zero shiny Moltres? Well, I just changed my Critter storage from CP to recent and the first Moltres caught is a 1822CP shiny. Like somebody who's been run over by Ivor The Engine I'm chuffed to bits! :o My excuse for not noticing is I didn't know what a shiny Moltres looked like.

My main embarrassment is that after a rather embittered battle with autoincorrect, I still spelled Mewtwo wrong!

Finally managed to complete stage 3 of Celebi and now walking 10k with evee and sending presents.

I was visiting family for a few days and left a rubbish Pokemon (a Skiploom that was near the top of my recents) at a gym we passed on the way to the airport. 3 days later it’s still there, someone must want gold on that gym as lots of berries have been fed! I’m silver on it but will probably never visit it again and I’ll never raid. At least I didn’t leave my maxed out 96% Blissey!

I’ve also sent friend requests! I’m so excited about aloan eggs having regionals. Does anyone know if they have to be sent after the event starts or just received?

My understanding is that the eggs/gifts have to have been received after the start of the event to qualify.

@MeetMeInMontauk so to be on the safe side would you recommend waiting till gifts received tomorrow before opening any with open egg slots? I've got all the Alolan ones I want so really do t want any more.

Yes, I would hold off until event starts before adding eggs to the slots. At least then you are guaranteed a chance at a regional (I'm already waiting for the ragequits from all the trainers hatching 7km Mr Mimes, though 🤣).

Eggs are determined when you open a gift, regardless of when the gift was sent/received.

So if you open all your gifts after 9pm tonight and receive eggs, even from gifts sent months ago, they have the chance to contain regionals.

You could still hatch Alolan Pokemon, even on eggs you receive after the event starts, as they are not exclusively regional Pokemon but rather the regionals are joining the Alolan Pokemon in 7km eggs.

So you want to be doing a lot of walking!

I just got my Mew! Finally! I was stuck on my 'do lots of raids' challenge as I just don't get much opportunity, but after I landed two excellent curve balls in one day I decided I was on a streak and went for it. He's so cute. DH was not as excited as I was 🙄
