Just like if you go abroad and pick up an egg, then come back to the UK, the egg and subsequent Pokémon will be from the location you found the egg.

ApplesinmyPocket that was me! I also live in a small village, Chester is just over an hour away but am contemplating a Community Day there if I don't have my daughter with me. I have just friended your daughter, would be goodness to have someone on my friends list that I might actually meet!

Almost up to level 25 but it’s hard going! Anyone got any tips for someone who never seems to have time/ be in the right place to battle or raid? Catch everything or be selective? (I keep running out of pokeballs).

Oriana - generally catch everything as every little helps. How often can you visit a place with lots of Pokestops? I dont really raid bar level 1/2 ones.

If you’re going to run low, you could only catch ones you don’t have or need candies for, along with the likes of Pidgeys and Whismur that only need 12 candies to evolve. Save up for a mass evolve with a lucky egg.

Apples - I was in Chester recently and was amazed by how many Pokestops there are close together! I had lunch near the town hall and was in range of 5 at the same time!

We go once a year as DH goes to an event nearby. I go shopping and sightseeing.

I need to stop looking at the nearby scanner at night - a Snorlax shadow has appeared (the only non legendary/regional gen 1 I need) but typically it’s in the middle of a park that isn’t lit at night.

TakeaChanseyonMe (great name!) Chester was given 120 new Pokestops and gyms for the official Pokemon Go Festival held there last year - they were allowed to keep them after the event! so they are indeed everywhere. I wish we lived nearer; we'd be there every weekend!

I’m in Glasgow so the city centre has loads of Pokestops but you usually wouldn’t be in range of more than 2 without moving in the city centre.

Arghhh I‘m just outside Chester at the moment clearing out MILs house as she has gone in a home. Sadly I don’t have time (and husband would kill me) if I went into Chester to spin stops

With trading it rerolls the dice on the pokemons stats. So don't trade any amazing 100% mon expecting the stats to stay the same, they could end up rubbish.
