Ooh exciting, Snorlax is the field research pokemon for July, I've been wanting one for ages!

Just seen that about Snorlax; I think it’s very disappointing. I have several Snorlax and they’re only worth sticking in gyms.

Also not exactly thrilled about yet more Kanto Pokemon. I’ve got more than enough candy for them and since all my PokeDex’s are complete with every Pokemon released in the UK it’s just rather dull to go back to Gen I again.

I got one from a raid that I did at lunchtime today.

Unless they release shiny Snorlax, I'm disappointed with the announcement. I was expecting the dogs to return.

I have 2 snorlaxes and one was a wild catch! At one a year, I've hardly been inundated.

I do need more snorlax but I thought it would be a PokéStop reward, like the lapras one.

NeedingAdvicePlease Lapras isn’t a Legendary Pokemon either.

Spawn rate wise, Lapras is slightly rarer with a 0.006% chance, whereas Snorlax spawn rate is 0.016%.

I caught my first Lapras on my second week of play, I had no idea it was rare until showed dd.

I only have one hatched and one caught Snorlax. I do love them, great big snuggly penguins.

I've got a Snorlax too, caught in November 2016 so he's been around for a while. Showing as 2 seen, 1 caught in Pokedex.

Lapras is only 1 seen and 0 caught, it's by far the rarest on the Kanto pokedex in this area.

One of the stops close to my house used to spawn Snorlax quite a lot. I'm on 11 seen, 9 caught. For Lapras I'm on 7 seen, 5 caught.

Just found you all again. Disappointed with snorlax as the research pokemon too. Though dd will be happy as she's only been playing for about a month and hasn't got one.

Have you seen the game developer that they based Snorlax on? Always makes me smile. I'd love someone to make a pokemon of me.

Just one wild and one hatch Snorlax here. It was one that evaded me for ages.

I've got loads of Lapras because of the water events plus it enjoys spawning at Asda.

I've seen 34 and caught 28 Lapras and seen 38 and caught 23 Snorlax. A majority of those have been from eggs.

Just had a snowy castform spawn in my house and thought, bloody hell, that's lost!

Then realised that we have the mythical foggy weather. The fret actually cleared here over an hour ago, but nice to have it acknowledged, for once.

I don't mind hacing some more snorlax but I'm not thrilled.

I'm very disappointed that the whole Tasks thing isn't moving onto Johto in July. we've completed the rotation of the Gen 1 Legendaries and almost everyone finished their Special research ages ago. So I expected us to 'switch' up to Gen 2. New Special Research with Celebi as reward (like the previous Mew ones) plus Gen 2 focused Field tasks.

In other News I hatched my first overseas egg this morning (florida) so am hoping to trade that grimer today to get some distance on my medals. I'm also currently incubating 2 eggs from NZ (19,000km each ) and one from Hong Kong.

I also have 2 gifts from Australia waiting for me to open once I have egg space.

I'm still on the special research for Mew
Did a raid yesterday and it kept erroring out. Possibly because my phone was almost melting. I knew I'd be stuck on the raids for sometime though as don't see many I can do at times I can do them.

I'm still on Mew research too. Need 5 more raids.
