Caught 2 shinies, took part in a legendary raid but only 2 out of 20 in our group caught it. Still fun though. Love community day.

What's the next one?

I caught 8 shinies today and managed to do some raids in ex-capable gyms. Also caught two snorlax which I haven't seen in the wild for a while.

Probably your 7 day streak. I accidentally caught something just after midnight because I wasn't paying attention to the time so messed mine up. Still gained about 90k stardust, today and had sunny weather for most of the event. Spent about 80 minutes catching intensely and then caught a bus do occasionally moved into partly cloudy areas, though there were plenty of safely pinappable mandies in those areas.

Only 5 shinies but one was high enough CP to be worth evolving despite average IVs. Got a 96 IV level 28 Mandy which I evolved and will probably spend much of that stardust on.

I caught 83 chars but only two shineys
I did get a shiney ho-oh tho

Good day today! I got 5 shinies and turned two into shiny Charizards (82% and 76% so not too bad for shinies!), and turned two Charmanders into regular Charizards as well (96% and 91%) so very pleased with that

I did have a shiny run from me though And I’d even used a golden razz and an ultra ball!

At a Ho-Oh raid at about 1430:-

"How was Community Day for you?"

"Honest? "

"yeah, honest, not too fussed though, shiny Charmander's still out there"

"Is it? Are you sure?"

"Yup, once a shiny's out there it's out there, and I will catch shiny Dratini and Charmander, just not today. Did you catch any?"

"Erm, yeah, like 5"

"Oh well done, I bet you're chuffed"

"I am. Evolved a Black Charizard too!"

"Oh nice!"

I caught zero shiny Charmanders out of the 87 I caught. Never mind, better luck next time.

I didn't get a shiny either. Still just Shuppet and Makuhita. Black Charizard looks super cool though!

I reckon Camilla sneaked out for a quick hunt before the wedding because she turned up with a squashed jigglypuff on her head.

I was well disappointed with the catch rate, I rarely get to a town that has enough players. Oh well.

It best bit of the day for me was when a woman asked if the hundred or so people loitering, looking at phones, groaning/punching the air then shuffling 3 foot to do the same was to do with the royal.wedding and one bloke without missing a beat said
"Yeah I've caught Charles,hth, Kate and fergie but Phil is being a right bastard to catch"

Wow Alonso that’s beautiful. The lady next to me at the raid today caught a shiny I did realise they were a thing.

I’m very happy with my two shiny charmanders - evolved them and two normal ones.

Managed to get five shiney Charmander today, so got myself a shiny set. Managed to drag the kids with me on this one as Charmander / Charizard are DS's favourites. :)

SneakyGremlins Totally worth it! Zapdos is a legendary Pokemon; that means it’s among the best in the game. You also cannot catch Zapdos in the wild (same with all legendary Pokemon), and until this month, you could only previously get it in the limited raid window last summer. It will be going away at the May when the research reward changes (predicted to be to Articuno but unconfirmed).

With a CP of 1418, I think that might be 96% IVs you know, too. Put it through PokeGenie to be sure, but you could have caught an amazing one!

I only had a bit of time to get charmanders yesterday, enough to evolve through to a charizard but it's only 71% IV. I got one shiny charmander that I evolved into a chameleon but I ran out of time to catch any more! It's very low IV but still glad I have it.

Ok so I have my go tcha but it isn’t syncing with its app so keeps vibrating and I have to touch it to catch Pokémon. I have reinstalled the app twice but it still doesn’t sync and I can’t change it on the thing itself.
Any ideas?

I missed yesterday's event as I was having my hair done but there's always the next one. I am only 350k xp away from level 35. At this rate level 40 should be reached when it is year 3000.

I have been playing almost from the get go and still do not have an aerodactil. That adventure week better happen because I need to finally catch that flying lizard!

I’m so annoyed. I’ve got an exclusive raid pass for 29 May but I’m on holiday then. Gutted! It’s a bit rubbish that they give it to you for a particular gym - I was given a gym in a town that I don’t often go to and is nearly 20 miles away. I guess they just choose the busiest gyms?

They're generally gyms in parks.
