Anybody remember this? No? Just me then. I managed to raid and catch Latios yesterday.

We have a regular mudkip spawn right in our house. I have 2 swampies, including a maxed out hundo, plus another 160 candy! Never had this with any other starters

@PickAChew That sounds truly crap, I'm sorry.

I see maybe one or two Ralts per week when there isn't an event on (none when there is), but they always seem to be tiny, with low IVs.

The raid boss theory makes total sense @Wailmer, I haven't seen that suggested anywhere but I bet that is it. Gardevoir is great.

I have never seen a wild ralts and have only ever hatched 1. I think I need to visit PickA's neighbourhood for some!

I see Ralts a fair bit too. And have hatched a load so got Gardevoir quite quickly.
It's weird what appears where. I think I've got 2 Lapras from Asda - bargain!

Asda - were they on offer 2 for 1?

I rarely see Ralts, I’m walking a Lotad at the moment, I do see them but not often.

Did my first ever raid last night! Noticed a bunch of people standing looking at their phones so I went and stood near them and looked at my phone Didn't catch the latios after we beat it though

For Lotad go out in the rain, they're everywhere.

I just got two shiny Aron within five minutes. I suggest had two. Still no Omanyte or Kabuto though!

I just did my first ever double raid with someone openly smoking a huge joint!! In case your wondering I’m in Holland and no it wasn’t me. I have done over 500,000 XP since Thursday as I’ve been on holiday for a couple of days in a new town and just been on my bike around the town here to get all the stops I haven’t yet been to. Back to the UK tomorrow.
Thinking of getting an early train and going for a wander around Amsterdam for a couple of hours before my flight to get some more new pokestops and more xp.

I took DS2 out for a long tire him out walk today and had to explore the back streets in town to clear up some white rings that I normally have no reason to be walking past. Frustratingly, one of them turned out to be on private land and I couldn't reach it from the street. We ended up walking 4 miles, though he's resisting going to sleep, as it's still light. I think I need to go and turn his telly off

Went to a new city today, put on several lucky eggs and walked around getting all the new stops - 4,200XP per new stop!

As a result I have gained almost 600,000 XP in a matter of hours. Totally worth it

When is this event on till?

This new town thing sounds like a worthwile thing to do.

Even more worthwhile with a lucky egg or two!

I'm a bit frustrated I haven't been to London like I normally do during this "new pokestop" event, I hope they do this again!

I didn’t get up early this morning either so now I’m back in the uk. Might go for a drive later and see how many pokestops i can find that I haven’t spun before

I did just go out and get a shiny walimer and yesterday I got a 98% ho-oh so not doing too bad this week.

All my strongest ones need revives

Sneaky apparently you can power up a Pokemon to revive it if you haven't got any revives. This uses candy & stardust so don't do it unless you absolutely need to. Spinning gyms is more likely to give you revive & potion items so try that too.

Joining a couple of WhatsApp groups has been very helpful & I've now got a pass for both this week & next. Yay!

I can't power them up - my trainer level is too low!

SneakyGremlins I absolutely would not power up Zangoose, Armaldo or Cradily under any circumstances whatsoever - all completely useless Pokemon for battling with.

I wouldn’t power up any of them to be quite honest. You’re still a very low level and stardust is extremely precious; you will get much better high IV Pokemon the longer you wait.

Look who turned up outside my house this morning! Terrible stats but still...
