Anybody remember this? No? Just me then. I managed to raid and catch Latios yesterday.

Partner just phoned, he's caught his 6th Mewtwo although it's IV is rubbish at 73% lucky sod has another exraid next week. I'm almost 30 weeks pregnant with quite bad sciatica so haven't been able to get around as much as I usually would.

I have my second EX raid next Tuesday - I've actually booked the day off so I can do it In my defense, I was vaguely intending to take the day off anyway as we're away for the weekend and I want a day to recover and get stuff done.

This is my fourth pass - I made a huge effort (six hour round trip) to do the first one, but then the next two required the same effort and I just couldn't be arsed.

When I catch a Pokémon, when I have one already I send the lower cp one to the professor. Is this a good thing to do? I'm asking the experts!

Another excellent Pogo day.
My first Ex Raid resulted in my first Mewtwo followed quickly by my first Latios (after 4 failed previous attempts).
And also getting to know a really friendly bunch of fellow local raiders better, some young enough to be my sons (one was actually in same year as one of them) but no one seems to notice the age gap.
What's not to like!

My daughter had to go and do my mewtwo raid today as I was working. She was chuffed she caught it. It’s not bad. 89% and 15 attack

Sneaky it depends how much storage you have. I'm a bit of a hoarder!
I chuck out anything that's not 'a wonder' or if it's rare I might keep some 'caught my attention' ones. Your appraisal might be different if you're a different team. I also mince anything where the arc is on the left as I'm never going to power it up.

There are also ones I keep temporarily to do a huge evolve session with a lucky egg

I got my second Mewtwo at the raid today, one CP lower than my first 😂 They seem to have increased the catch rate a lot, nobody who did the ex raids across the two cities I'm in chats for had it flee.

SneakyGremlins CP doesn’t mean good IV; I’d rather have a lower CP but higher IV.

I keep high IV wonder Pokémon (wonder can be as low as 82% which isn’t high enough for me - I want 90%+).

Hi all - can I jump back in? Have had a few months off and just started playing again with my DS.
Charmander day was a good day to get back into it 😊
So, I’ve just set up a brand new account - just for me and not for my DS (8) to mess around with!
What would you all do differently if you were starting from scratch again?
The upsides are that there are shadows everywhere, I’m racing through the levels and I don’t get up in the morning to find my DS has squandered a ton of stardust on powering up his random favourite mon... 😤
Downsides are it’s gonna take me ages to accumulate everything we have in our L28 account!

Wow, I don’t think I could start again. It took me 18 months to get a chansey, I couldn’t go though that again. At least doing it from the beginning you had chance to get pretty much all the ones from each region before they released more. I remember when I first started I spunked a ridiculous amount of stardust on a bloody pidgey. I still miss that stardust.

What level are you up to denial? I’m just about to get to 34, but I took about 5 months off. I also don’t have anyone to raid with so I can never get Ho-Ohs and stuff

Up to L28 on the account we’ve been playing since nearly the beginning with a few breaks. I’m on L9 with my new account since yesterday 😊
Just found a local group to do raids with and did our first one on Sat - Oh Ho so v pleased to catch that (altho only 78% ☹️)
Only just learning about IVs since starting playing again and reading on here so quite sad to find that most of my Pokemon altho high CP are rubbish after downloading Poke Genie and scanning a load ☹️☹️ (apart from a 96% Togepi - my best IV!).

If I was starting again, I'd mass evolve on lucky eggs and be patient with building up candy to get better quality pokemon. It should be quicker now with access to raids.

I was a bit late getting going with IV checking and some of my older ones aren't great.

Got a 79% wild catch Dragonite today

I'm looking forward to the larvitar community day. Have 2 100 IV tyranitar that need more candy. I'm hoping the next community day after larvitar is squirtle so I can wear my squirtle squad t-shirt

Also if anyone is in the Glasgow area for any of the community days head to Glasgow green if possible. We have a most shinies caught competition with prizes on offer.

SneakyGremlins Because they’re not always available. They only put them in the shop around events for a limited time.

I don’t think they’re worth buying, tbh.

I wouldn't spend actual money on them, but my Pokémon are good at getting coins for defending gyms

Yay it worked and my go tcha worked this morning. Now nope it’s gone again and Bluetooth isn’t finding it. Going to have to return. Gutted.

My go plus used to be very tempermental. I had to remove it from bluetooth and reset it frequently to make it connect.

As predicted, Articuno is going to be the next research reward Pokemon for June
