Just been catching up on the threads, haven't been following them for ages, had so much on. Haven't done a raid for about a month.

The glitch with jumping to the top of the screen when checking through pokemon is driving me mad, and I'm another one holding off doing a mass evolve until it's fixed.

I'm glad to be seeing a fair number of Torchics around, but they're as bad as Charmanders for being slippery buggers for catching. . Currently walking Treeko as he's not as prolific, although I did manage to hatch one with a slew of candies today, so that was good. :)

I got my first ever EX Raid Pass for next week!!!

So my phone had an accident and I missed most of the Christmas events. Pleased to be back now!

I finally caught Groudon at the 7th attempt. Only 49% though, but it's a Groudon.

Hatched 2 10km eggs, a Chansey and a Feebas. Better than those sodding sticks.

The first boxes contain Pikachu, Torchic, Squirtle and Popplio. We received several boxes of them, so we’ll use all them up and then when we get the next boxes with the next four in they’ll go out

Hence why different McDonalds have different ones in, because it all depends on how fast they sell in each store.

I know we receive posters with which toys are released each week but it never works like that unfortunately (so our store doesn’t put out those posters, just the full set of Pokemon toys on display).

Do you know the deal with the trading cards? 2 Pikachu packets we ordered had different cards.
There was an upset kid at my local because Bulbasaur wasn't a figure.

Anyone know why there are quite literally 100s of Wobuffets in our local park? Anything special about them?

TheweewitchRoz Your local park is a nest, which is where you find a lot of the same Pokemon.

The majority of nests are either parks or public spaces, and while you find a lot of the same Pokemon, they’re usually a lot weaker than if you came across them normally (average about 30% IVs).

Nests migrate every two weeks, and the next migration is in four days (there’s a nest migration timer here: nestmigration.com).

Yep, we spent a cold, muddy but rewarding half hour in a park that was a carvanha nest, this afternoon. Hoped to hit a corphish nest, too, but didn't have time. It's closer to home so we should be able to get there on Monday before ds1 goes back to school.

Too many zigzagoon around today but did find a nice little seam of wailmer. Passed there twice, today and caught 4 of them altogether. It's already a good watery spot despite there being nine in sight of the place, so hoping it'll be lucrative over the next few months.

We caught some whale thing today that requires 400 candy to be evolved. And that's the most exciting thing to have happened in days.

Thanks what & jaime - there's not been an unusual nest in our park for a really long time so hopefully it'll change for something good soon (it's usually just pidgies, ratata, sentret & hoot hoot with occasional different Pokémon!)

Dil, I'm not sure what they evolve into but they're only 1 km per candy when they're your buddy so I'm hoping they're as good as gyrados when evolved!

Three and Dillite- the evolution is Wailord, which is actually more similar to Snorlax or Blissey, in that it has very high HP (fourth highest out of all of the 'mons released in the game so far, I believe) . The Gen 3 Gyarados equivalent is Milotic which evolves from Feebas (10km egg Pokemon) I believe, I think WhatToDo said this but I might be wrong!

Wailord is a great pokemon; Wailmer’s are rare but they’re also Tier 1 Raid Pokemon to help you get the candies.

jaimelannistersgoldenhand Wobuffet never evolves so you don’t need to get candies for an evolution.

Oops. It evolves from Wynaut rather than into something else.

We're not going to get to that park, today. Likely to break our necks trying. Caught another wailmer, though. Only 351 candy off a wailord.
