I need a quality Mareep/ Flaaffy! I've got the 100 candies to evolve Flaafy.

I've got to 100 totodile/croconaw candies today.

I think that's all I can walk up for new evolutions now.

I think next time I complete a candy, I need to walk a couple of Eevees for a better quality Espeon and Umbreon.

Caught a wild Larvitar today

First one, it's rubbish but given my complete lack of 10k eggs again, looks like the only one I'll get for a while!

I've evolved my strongest IV Eevee into Umbreon and powered it up. Now I need to walk a decent, high CP Eevee to evolve a better Espeon. I don't really know what to walk after this. I'm holding off on evolving Flaaffy in the hope of a better Mareep, so will need some more candy, but I was finding grinding away at about 80 candies, mostly at 5k per candy to be so tedious that I can't face it yet!

I don't think I've got any more gaps in the pokedex that can be filled by an evolution, and nothing else desperate for upgrading.
Maybe Machop as a third decent Machamp wouldn't go amiss for beating up Blissey and Snorlax? I've got a nice amount of candy from finding a nest a few weeks back so that might be reasonably productive for now.

I'm trying to save up decent evolutions for an event in the not so distant future. Now about 83% of the way through L33. Levelling up is getting very tedious!

Dillite yeah, so the aim is to catch 3 billion Pokemon up until the 26th November. If we manage it, then we unlock the gold rewards in the picture below . It’s a bit like the worldwide catching event that was going on during the Chicago festival they did in the summer.

Im assuming once we unlock the rewards, they will then be around for a few days after the catching time frame has ended.

When you say we, us that a collective everyone who plays in that event? So it's like one giant team effort.

Yep. Just catch everything in sight and it gets totted up. I see they're increasing spawns at each stage, too.

I've only been playing half heartedly the last few months and haven't been following any news on it. I just realised yesterday when having a Pokemon clear out that I have a shiney Pichu! I only knew about the magikarps.

I've been googling to try to find a list but can't seem to find one. Does anyone here know what shineys are currently available? I wasn't paying attention yesterday and am hoping I've not transferred any more shineys.

One of the new ones, Sableye can be shiny too. I've never had anything shiny.

I had a Hoothoot turn into Ditto earlier. I thought he was being a bit stubborn about staying in the ball!

I've just googled the shiney Sableye and that looks different enough that I would have noticed. The Pichu looks barely different and I very nearly transferred it!

Somebody in our local group has a shiny Duskull, Sableye and Pichu.

I take it that if there are 3Bn catches worldwide during the Tottori event we get double xp and stardust, 6hr lures and 48 hrs to catch Farfetch'd.

Ummmm. Have the spawn points chsng d, thus evening? 2 hours in a row the one next door hasn't appeared.

Aye, been making the most of that, on school run. Might hit level 36 by the weekend as I have a batch to evolve with a lucky egg, including a second blissey.

Some new evolutions in that batch, the best being Feralligtor. Also Dusclops and Bannette that I'd been holding on to benefit from the bonus XP. I also got the aloha region bronze badge.

I still think the levelling up awards should be better through the 30s.

I have nearly 1400 pidgey candy burning a hole in my pocket. Can evolve now. Yay.

I too have joined the level up club

Our local group tried to do 2 Raikou raids earlier but both fell through due to lack of numbers. We know it can be done with 6 L30+ players but today nobody was available. As my car is out of action for the next couple of days I am going to accept all local raid invitations, chucking a Lucky Egg before Raikou for a lovely 40k xp each time.

Congrats on reaching L34 Somewhat, I'm only 360k xp behind you. Lucky Eggs and double xp will hopefully see me level up during this event.

How did you know double XP was activated? Anyone know how long for, or have I missed it. I thought the catching was until 26th Nov?
