Great work, Trainers! You’ve collectively caught over 1.5 billion Pokémon and unlocked even more rewards during the #PokemonGOtravel Global Catch Challenge.

Silver rewards activated. Double xp, double stardust and more spawns activated.

Two really pleasing catches today, a 96% Horsea and a 100% Jigglypuff. I'm going to have to grind a load of 'Mon as my storage is maxed out. Anything under 75% is going, unless it's the only one I've got.

There's certainly a lot more around today - chose a good day to venture into the nearby town. A chance to stock up on balls, then use them all on the multitude of monsters.

Only downside was the lack of chances to get into the gyms - they all seemed jammed full of the opposition bar one which only had one Mon holding it so I took that, was quickly thrown out, so retook and I'm still there. I don't often get a chance to take gyms so was a bit frustrating visiting a town and find no room at the inn gym

We're on course - have been getting half a billion per day since the spawns first increased. Even the most pessismistic graphs over on the silph road reach the target tonight or tomorrow morning - and it's the weekend, so I bet it'll be tonight.

I did my first legendary raid earlier, but he got away My fingers were frozen!

I've managed to get into a couple of smaller chat groups than the one I tried in the summer. The main one for the city had my phone constantly vibrating and was just unmanageable on notifications.

Somewhat I have completed 38 Legendary Raids and managed to catch 11. A friend (met via the local FB group) reckons I have a good 'hit rate' as she's completed over 200 and caught 36. Raikou is a bugger to catch, far harder than Entei imo.

Jaime, it looks like we'll hit the target either late tonight or very early tomorrow. Bring on the duck! :o
