They're well aware of that, but these are social games; they rely on players, which rural areas have significantly less of. There's not much they can do to combat that.

Congratulations watortle! I had no idea that you could get those in the wild. And I get excited when an abra pops up as it breaks up the onslaught of vermin.

I've had a couple of Wild mareep. Very jealous of the miltank though. It's one of the 7 I'm missing but can't walk.

Earlier I saw a young child frantically jabbing at her phone, so asked if she was taking the gym down. She was, so I asked if I could join in and we took it down together. Our subsequent chat went:-

So I did. She offered a high five, which I took, then I thanked her and her dad, we all said see you and went our different ways. She was beaming, so were her dad and I, and moments like that make me love this game.

School mum and I take turns so we give each other chance to get some coins. I began preparing to fight a gym moments before she turned up, so I happily let her put a weakling in for some points then took it down. I suggested putting a good one in the next one on the circuit and bypassed it so she could get some coins, then took down the third one in the area.
The gym rework is so much more dynamic than the days of stagnant fortnights of L10 gyms and being just too weak to get a high enough CP pokemon to be one of the players benefiting!

Yes loc, it made all the solitary hours of Pidgey grinding worth while. dillite, If she'd been red I'd have insisted she take the gym, she was fighting it first. Despite reports to the contrary, I am not a monster. :o We were both Team Blue though, and I wanted her to put her favourite 'Mon in first.

Anyone else seem to be finding their Go Plus connection really buggy again? It had been good for a few months but has reverted back to cutting the connection and being a faff to reconnect/ reset.

Hatched a Mareep which brought 15 candy with it, I can now get an 87% Ampharos.
