Thanks WhatToDo. Turns out a Fragonite I’ve been nurturing is completely pants. Spent much of this week somewhere with no pokestops and poor signal so ran my pokeball store down to nothing. Hopefully will have a good catching day today.

Have never seen a shiny so will keep my eye out, would love to catch one.

Today was brilliant. 10 of our local group went to a park in a nearby city and had a blast. 8 of us completed a Croconaw Raid in about 10 seconds :o and when we went to a Tyranitar Raid we found approx 40 others doing the same.

Can't wait for the next time we do this.

WhiteHorse thank you for recommending that dragon game (it's a massive pokemon go rip off though). It has gotten my daughter very excited as she gets to catch new monsters and explore new features. And the avatar costumes are so much cooler as well.

I've also downloaded that Draconius go game, looks intriguing! Something to do until gen 3 appears!

Of course that's barring two regionals (Farfetch'd and Tauros), and Mew and Mewtwo.

But generally, Gen I is complete! FINALLY!

Only 5 non regionals/legendaries from Gen II to go as well

Thank you, loc! I walked 110km with my Doduo to turn it into Dodrio to complete Gen I (only ever seen the one), so it's definitely a relief to have finally finished it!

That makes me feel better about my recent flurry of Porygons. One was a nice novelty, but a string back to back is a bit tedious for 10k of work.

I'll be lucky to actually gather the candy to complete my Amphorous during this event 96 down...). We were away on holiday last week and data was a bit limited, so I thought a break might be healthy anyway, but I was hoping on catching up with the DCs in school this week... except we've been tag teaming on a digestive bug. After a false alarm with DS2 off school yesterday as he seemed off, then rallied, I've had to pick him up today despite a perky start to the day, so I've now got him in tow until the end of the event. I might be able to do some little walks with him where there's a low risk of spreading germs, but at 4, he's definitely not going to cover the mileage that I would by running. (It's also buggered up my running plans with a 10 mile race next week which is a little irritating when I haven't run since my HM two weeks ago)

I think I'm going to need to work out the best team to kick a load of high level blisseys, snorlaxes, gyriadoses and tyranitars out of gyms.

Otherwise it's going to take forever to keep kicking that lot out.

Rafa give it 3 hours and they'll be dead easy with whatever you have to hand! The only poleys I find give anything of mine a good wearing out are the Blisseys and Rhydons. And they're all much quicker to rake out on their third and final round.

It's late.

I've got two decent Machamps that can usually finish off a fresh Blissey within time. I would rather wait for time to take it's course though. At least once you've got through round 1, you know you can do it, and round 3 is easy. It's a tedious pokemon to take down though!

My daft error of the day was raiding an Electobuzz. I stupidly mistook it for Magmar and lined up 6 Vaporeons to fight it thinking it was fire, but the water is weak against electric. I just about did it in time, the raid was closing and I don't think I had time for a second chance.

Hmm, legendaries must have rotated again, Raikou raid currently on at the gym up the road from me.

After 284.6 long, long km I finally have 100 mareep candies so can evolve an Anphorous! I'm now walking Croconaw which is already on 56 candies and a nice lightweight 3km per candy.

My dilemma is, do I evolve my good but not great Flaaffy, or wait an indeterminate amount of time to get a better quality Mareep (my two Mareeps are weak and low CP)". Given that I started walking Flaafy about 4 months ago (I think it was around the end of the fire and ice event) and haven't caught or hatched anything towards it in that time, I'm not feeling too confident! I can't face walking up towards 25 extra candy at the moment anyway.

My other dilemma is do I do a lucky egg evolution now while I get double candy back, or hold in case there's a double XP event in a few weeks for Thanksgiving like last year. I think I'm veering towards holding. I have been transferring superfluous mons.

I'm about 60% of the way through L33 which has been dragging a bit. I levelled up in September and hoped I'd be ready around this kind of time. I seem to have been getting XP at a lower rate than I was planning based on previous levels.

I'm feeling a bit more positive than I have for a while. I'd hit quite a long rut of lots of grinding for little gain.

Did three Raikou raids today and didn't catch any :(
