whattodo I mean I've caught the most on our account out of me and ds. I've had years of buying cards and ds games and running him to events, then this comes along and I think I got more obsessed than him!

I'm on holiday in Glasgow, we have walked everywhere for the last 4 days and I've only seen 2 kangaskhan and 2 unknown....

Kakuna. My DC are in their early 20's but were brought up on Pokémon right from when they were little kids and toddlers....... Pokémon Smash Bros, Pokémon Stadium, Pokémon Snap, the DS Pokémon games all of them , The Pokémon movies all of them and more Pokémon cards than you could ever imagine. They Recently decided to see if they could still name every single gen 1, gen 2 and gen 3 Pokémon - they missed a few but nearly managed it. (I'm so proud 😂😂)

It was my kids that started me on Pokémon go, I don't think they thought I'd get quite so into it. They think it's hilarious.

We still have our N64 with the old Pokémon games. Pokémon Snap is a surprisingly playable game. 😁

Was that in the city centre Derek? I was in the city centre for a few hours today and caught at least 5 kangaskhan and quite a few unown too. I managed to nab 2 zapdos in Glasgow today but DP never got any so we are heading back in a couple of days.

A 40km expansion would put Unown nearly but not quite in my area. I will wait for the sightings....

Can't decide whether to evolve it or not. It would be nice to have a red Gyarados, but's not actually going to be much use for anything.

WWYD? I've got 2300 Magikarp candies if that makes any difference, but my easy supply of those is about to dry up so I don't want to waste them.

PikachuHeadgear I would do it, just because the chances of getting another shiny magikarp are rare and I'd love a red Gyarados.

Plus you have so many candies I think I'd definitely do it.

I know exactly what I did with my shiny flappy fish - I looked at it for a day or two and then sent it off with all the other weaklings. Only the strongest get to evolve.

PikachuHeadgear. I think I'd evolve it. You will still have loads of candy left. Have you got some decent grydos's (sp?) If you power him up then he will still look scary in a gym even if he isn't much use at actual defending.

Yes, my evolving policy is normally very strict. But maybe this is going to be the exception, I've never had one before so I'm not counting on getting a better one!

PokemonGo I've got a couple of good gyarados (or gyaradi?), and that is a very good point - once he's in a gym no-one knows what his IVs are. And there's no advantage to being able to defend a gym for days on end now anyway.

CottonWool. I think I caught 1 but I've evolved the rest. I live near a river and I walk and bike a lot. I've a go plus and a phone holder on my bike. Since pinapps have come out I've pinapp'ed almost every magicarp I've seen.

I've maxed out a couple of them. (Level 38) I love hydro pump. ❤️❤️❤️

PokemonGo As a general rule, it's not worth powering anything up after the Pokemon hits Level 30.

What. I know that you don't get to level 38 by not knowing this stuff but it's nice to have some fully powered up.

I've plenty of stardust and candy to blast through anything I'm faced so I can waste a bit on my precious favourites.

I'm jealous of your shiny. I would evolve it and stick it in gyms. 3k lose motivation too fast where as 2k ones are better. It's the digital way to say ner ner ner ner ner to people like me who haven't got one.
