Still just keeping up the streaks, but yesterday I HATCHED A SNORLAX. That's No2, and I have 40 Snorlax candy.

I get it re grinding up Pikachus, it just feels wrong. I do it though, 'cos I'm heartless.

Got my Moltres, feel very jammy about it though. Was abroad until Wednesday and then had work Thursday and Saturday and a funeral on Friday so pretty much relying on today to catch one. We have a local Discord server for raids so had a look on that. Arranged to meet at a local one at 10am, there were 11 of us in total. Took it down easy enough but only 2 of us were Instinct and I only had 6 balls to try with. First 2 balls completely missed and then the third hit him. Didn't get a nice let alone excellent but he went in with a golden razzberry. I think I was one of 3 to catch it but I'm super happy. Need Lugia still and Zapdos when it's released. Off to Rome on Friday so will hopefully be able to catch some Unown and Kangaskhan.

Feeling pretty jammy myself. I don't do discord and Facebook meet ups etc so my chances of getting any legendaries is low especially as I've been busy doing other stuff....

However today I was in a town centre and noticed a moltres raid going on. DDs wanted to go into top shop so I thought doing the raid was a great excuse to not join them. I joined the raid and no one else was there. Tried again quarter of an hour later no there were 11 of us 😱😱😱. Not sure where they were all hiding. I could only see one person so maybe the others were spoofers ....whatever....I don't care
We took it down easily but my phoned crashed. 😭😭😓😪😢😰. I restarted and .... I was in the you won page with ELEVEN balls and lots of other stuff. It took 8 balls and a nice curve ball to catch. I was SO happy. 🎉🎊🎉🎊🎉🎊
It's the only moltres raid I've done and I'm not going to get a chance to do another so it was very exciting to catch it.

PokemonGo Congratulations on your birdie. I've just come in from a Moltres raid. Three of us were booted out after our first team fainted, like you I got back in just in time for the goodies. I was having a tactical discussion with a trainer who nearly came up to my waist, he was the youngest player I've raided with to date. He caught, I caught, my son caught - many people were very happy.

Is the special box worth having for 480 coins? I now have enough to buy it.

I did 4 moltres raids today to help people make up numbers and caught 3 in a row (only missed the first) so I'm thrilled. Going to wait for zapdos now and hope I've not used all my luck!

Yes; someone did a break down - the boxes are definitely worth it (with the Ultra box being the best).

Yep, you still get your free one! If you have a free one, it always uses that one before premium.

I dont think I will be able to save enough coins for the bigger boxes by the time they vanish

NikiBabe Since they've hung on this long my guess is that they'll stay around until the end of Legendaries.

I spent £20 on pokecoins simply to buy two of the ultra boxes (about a week apart); with doing 5+ legendary raids a day, the raid passes were really needed.

I do think moltres is easier to catch than articuno, I was 2/9 on articuno and am 5/7 on Moltres, plus it seems more people within the groups are catching it... I wondered if it's had the raised catch rate articuno had at the end all along. On Lugia I'm 1/9 so not much luck there!

I've bought a couple of the 480 coin boxes (one last month and one this week) and definitely think they're worth it!

wartortle No, it's been worked out; Moltres is easier to defeat but harder to catch than Articuno (though Lugia is both hard to defeat and hard to catch!).

DS and I caught a Moltres in Glasgow, and we also picked up two Kangas and one Unown. Not bad for a flying visit in pouring rain! So glad we did it. Both knackered tonight, but it was a proper little mum and child adventure.

Wish I had more time for raiding, but on balance I am happy we've managed one Lugia and one Moltres. I'd have liked an Articuno for completion but it just wasn't to be, and DS seems not to mind. And we hit level 31 today 🎉

Ah that surprises me about moltres! He is harder to hit than articuno was, it's tough to estimate how far back he is

And I don't have a Blissey either wartortle. One slightly rubbish Chansey is all. It was caught in the wild at the bottom of our road, with an epic battle involving so many ultraballs I lost count. More than fifteen. Rasps each time. I was so sure it would flee!

I've also got a rubbish Chansey caught in the wild. I want to get a decent one before I walk with it.
