Despite only really playing at the weekend due to working I'm now 180k through Level 31. Today I cheated somewhat. The M25 was stationary, so I opened the app and left it on. I had 8 eggs cooking and between junctions 18 and 22 managed to hatch 7 of them. Mantine, 2x Exegcute, Krabby, Eevee, Togepi and Magby.

Congrats Abbey on reaching Level 30, and commiserations Spammy on not being able to log in.

If the stuff about legendaries is accurate, people need Pokemon they can fight with so they can win gyms and Pokemon they can raid with to get special candies, tms and golden raspberries.

I've only seen one porygon, one chansey, three dratinis, one tyrogue etc. There's three spinaraks sat round my house regularly. I'd think if they can do regional spawns they could do regional eggs.

I've never seen a Porygon, Chansey or Snorlax in the wild. I've seen severa Dratinis, but not enough for a Dragonite.

Either way, Snorlax, Chansey, Larvitar and Dratini are already in eggs. So if they were making a temporary change it wouldn't make sense to keep them in

Also, while we will need good Pokemon for legendaries, they don't want to make the good ones common because if they did that there would be no merit to having a good Pokemon and/or catching a legendary.

The more people that have a particular Pokemon, the more common it is, the more its value goes down.

Had a frustrating time raiding a Weezing earlier. I was on my own and kept timing out when I was so close to finishing it. On one go the red bar was barely visible. One or two more hits would have done it.

The problem is that my better rock/ ground types are rock, not the ground, and my psychics are a bit underpowered. I even boosted a Mr Mime from CP 1400 to CP 1600 to help, but his health bar was too weak to take more than one special move.

SomewhatIdiosyncratic Psychics aren't worth powering up really, and especially not Mr Mime!

If I ever need a psychic I use my 2099 CP (wonder) Espeon, with my 1625 CP (wonder) Alakazam as a back up.

It doesn't make sense to do an event where you replace rare Pokemon with relatively common ones though. Chinchou in a 10k makes no sense as it evolves into a middling Pokemon. That's why people get frustrated with walking 10k and getting gligar, mantine, pinecone etc. You get them, you fill up your pokedex and you look round at gyms still stuffed with blisseys, dragonites and tyranitars. A 10k should be a very rare poke. If chinchou is like chansey in Utah or wherever then by all means change their eggs, but change ours to just be something very rare or really useful. Or just leave them be so I may one day get a snorlax!

It's only temporary for the event. Snorlax and so on will be back in the eggs straight after.

Porygon is not relatively common. I've never seen one and now is my chance to hatch one. I have also never had a Pineco.

It would take a lot more work and time to change all the eggs in different places around the world, especially temporarily, when that work can be better spent on PVP and trading. It just doesn't make sense.

I really wish people would stop putting their pikachu-in-a-hat in gyms, I feel so guilty looking at his little sad face when he gets defeated

If that egg list is true I will be completely pissed off. I've got 2 10K eggs today and only want/need Larvitar and Mareep. Chinchou were everywhere in the water event and I have 200 odd Porygon candy from the Valentines event. Surely special events should offer something better than normal, not worse.

TrashPanda It is true, but only temporary for the event which ends on the 24th July.

I don't even have a Porygon so I'm really hoping for a 10k.

I need more porygon so happy about the new list (except spinaraks, they're vermin here). Have seen porygon in the wild though, just once in Helsinki.

I never get 10K eggs and I got 2 yesterday and was well chuffed to have a chance at Mareep or Larvitar. If I got 10K eggs at this rate usually I wouldn't mind so much but I don't. I caught and hatched a Porygon in the same day last week, I don't need more. So far this event seems rubbish, hope they bring something better before the end.

I hatched one Porygon, a few weeks ago, but that's all I've had. I'd love to be able to evolve it. It's officially my worst Pokémon in terms of candy needed for gen 4!

I need some porygon so I can evolve but the new egg list is rubbish.

This is the only time all week where I'm not looking after my DD or working and I cannot log in to Pokémon Go (I've been trying for the last 4 hours).

Was working OK this morning (luckily as I found my be-hatted Pikachu in Sainsburys) but not working this afternoon.

Was okay here, just been for another walk so that I can be taunted by the Totodile nest that I can't reach

Mine was mega glitchy after the last major update and it is frustrating as hell, hope they get it sorted soon.
