Despite only really playing at the weekend due to working I'm now 180k through Level 31. Today I cheated somewhat. The M25 was stationary, so I opened the app and left it on. I had 8 eggs cooking and between junctions 18 and 22 managed to hatch 7 of them. Mantine, 2x Exegcute, Krabby, Eevee, Togepi and Magby.

Congrats Abbey on reaching Level 30, and commiserations Spammy on not being able to log in.

Where can I get that PokeGenie app? It isn't showing in my play store.

I thought that lucky eggs and incubators were supposed to be 75% off? The only sale item in my shop is the anniversary box.

HandbagKrabby my DS soloed a Machamp raid and had almost won but had some software problems with it lagging out so it didn't compute that he'd won before the time ran out. He was very annoyed! I was with him, I can't remember how long it took

HandbagKrabby DH and I did a Tyrannitar raid (level 4) when there were four of us. We couldn't do it, and we were all high levels.

So I think you need at least six (and high level players too - 28+ really) to be able to do it.

With raids being open to lower levels, it won't matter if you have 12 doing a level 4 raid if they're all low levels themselves as they won't have the capability and are much less likely to have the knowledge on what moves and types beat others.

So six high level trainers should be able to take on a Tyrannitar.

Got two pikachavs anyway

Ds1 and I are still in the gym we joined on Wednesday. Knowing our luck, no one will bother to kick us out until tomorrow, when we'll be out playing, anyhow. I wouldn't mind, but every other gym in that city has been alternating between blue and yellow, all week!

I don't think that my app has had an update yet- I haven't had a single pikachu shadow or anything that would suggest that an event was on. Although the play store isn't showing an available update either.

Dillite2 There's an easy way to check! When you go to the menu (clicked on via the ball), is there a red circle around the shop button?

And at the very top once in the shop, is the anniversary package on sale for 1200?

If yes, you've got the update and just haven't seen any new pikachus yet. If not, contact niantic!

Spinarak? Why have they put them in, they are everywhere.

DameDeDoubtance Pokemon Go is all across the world. They may be everywhere here in the U.K., but they won't be so common in other countries.

Plus Pineco (not yet got), Totodile (need lots more) and Hoppip (need lots more) in 5k eggs!

I still have the Totodile nest near me but I just can't get near it, the gps there is awful, just awful. I had one in an ultra ball but I had a red error and it blipped out. Frustrating but it's a beautiful spot and sometimes I catch one.

I forget about the different biomes, other people are wading through mon that I would find rare.

Chinchous (is that how you spell it?) are so common! Can't believe they are in 10km eggs now

cottonwool125 Like I said about Spinaraks, Pokemon Go is all across the world.

So while Chinchou's and Spinaraks are common here, they won't be in other countries.

Hence their inclusion in eggs.

Even if spinaraks and chinchous aren't common elsewhere, ariados and lanturn are only pokedex fillers. I'm fairly sure there's not many areas full of starters, snorlax, chansey, larvitar, mareep, unown, dratini, porygon, tyrogue etc which lots of players would be really happy about hatching. I got a 10k and I'll weep if it's a chinchou as I hardly get them these days.

I think me and dh will attempt a machamp raid next time I see one. There's some good infographics on the silph road Reddit about which Pokemon are good to use against raid bosses.

HandbagKrabby Porygon, Clefable, Victreebell, Dodrio, Sandslash and Vileplume are all "only Pokedex fillers", but they're rare around here and I'd be so happy to see one in an egg (hence my excitement about Porygon).

On your list, Snorlax, Dratini, Larvitar, Mareep, Chansey and I believe Tyrogue are all currently standard egg hatches... so if they're changing eggs around, it wouldn't be much of a change if they kept them in!

Are we supposed to get extra stardust in this event or did I dream that?

BumWad I'm sure I read that somewhere too! But I don't seem to be getting any extra stardust

Since the event is on for so long, maybe they're rolling it out later?
