Despite only really playing at the weekend due to working I'm now 180k through Level 31. Today I cheated somewhat. The M25 was stationary, so I opened the app and left it on. I had 8 eggs cooking and between junctions 18 and 22 managed to hatch 7 of them. Mantine, 2x Exegcute, Krabby, Eevee, Togepi and Magby.

Congrats Abbey on reaching Level 30, and commiserations Spammy on not being able to log in.

My Donphan has been in a gym for 30 hours now! Already had my coins for today so hoping he doesn't get knocked out until tomorrow.

I was very naughty and exchanged the 7 rare candy for 7 chansey candy. Now I only need to walk 10km unti I get a Blissey.

My Whitstable mon are still there. I am rather grateful that the locals are keeping them fed. Now let's hope they come out on different days.

Can anyone help - again it's for my DS not me - he is level 35 player and has used the Londonpogo map to catch Pokemon which I felt was a bit cheaty but I let him do it. (His friends have hacked PG far more than that)

But now he wants to access silph road where they apparently can show when players are going on the list for gym raids. He's done level 1-3 gym raids but wants to do some with multiple players which I can understand but am not sure that this silph Road thing is a good idea.

Does anyone know what I am talking about and any opinions for or against?

He has tried going to places where he thought lots of players would hang out (we live in Central London) butbhasnt had luck with multiple player gym raids.

RaspberryBeretHoopla I can't help as I haven't heard of that. But I would be careful allowing him to do things Pokemon are clamping down on; he doesn't want to get banned from his Level 35 account!

And if he's putting his name in with other players on a website, that sounds like a way for niantic to find him.

well the scary thing is that you don't actually put your name down on the gym raid list on the website- the website populates a map using clusters of players who have put their names down for Gym Raids so it is data mining site if you will.

Yeah, I agree. I am not inclined to let him do it.

But how do you play big gym raids if you don't have a gang of players to go out with? I understand his frustration.

RaspberryBeretHoopla You just have to turn up at a cool raid and hope. If it doesn't happen, it doesn't happen, but that's life and it's a good lesson to learn.

RaspberryBeret you join the local Facebook Group and ask there. Ours has set up a chat group to notify of L4 raids and I presume they sort out who is going. I've walked to three L4 raids now and walked back home again as there was only me there. I have learned all the lessons about playing rurally already.

Got a wonder Exeggcutor from a 2* solo raid this morning. Got my 50 coins for the day too so have increased pokemon storage.

I've got a really heathy stock of items now. I'm impressed as I was rather depleted on balls after the fire and ice event. I've used up my rare candies (about 11) to build towards Tyranitar. I got bored of walking the buddy so have had a break as it was slow going on 5k per candy. 3k per Togepi feels much more satisfying!

I only have a Dragonite as I randomly caught him many months ago, funnily enough, on my birthday! He was pretty decent too. I still haven't got a bronze medal for 10 dragon types, that's how few dratinis I've encountered!

He brought me down to my final ball and thankfully that one worked!

I took down a gym earlier all by myself. Was feeling pretty chuffed till some bastard swiped it from me before I had chance to stick my own Pokemon in it

Forgot to add. Well done Soubs. I just limit myself to Level 1 or 2 raids or sticking 'Mon in to defend a gym. I'm going to have to learn how to fight, which I have a problem with as I hate confrontation...
