That may be the issue then; you get the same Pokemon in the same area with only rare shows of new ones (I'm in a water area so very rarely get fire or grass Pokemon). It's not an issue with the game.

On the negative my 10km egg was a Lavitar

Why is that a negative? You always need more Tyrannitar candy as they're one of the best in gyms!

Although I never evolve into a (rare) second form if there is a third without having enough to evolve all three, because by the time you get to be able to evolve a third time, you probably have a much better Pokemon in terms of IVs and stats than the one you initially evolved, if that makes sense?

That makes perfect sense, but I am usually too excited about the new 'mon to wait. I am in awe of people who save their evolves for a double xp event as well. However, I have managed to hold back on evolving my Larvitar to Pupitar as I haven't got a great one.

Loving the event! Evolved Sunflora and Exxecutor (sp?) today, from having virtually no candy yesterday. DD has too, she also got her first Jumpluff.

Caught at least 6 Bulbasaurs, and three or four Chikoritas. Keep running out of Pinap berries though, so their evolves are still a way away.

I don't wait for xp events to evolve, but I do save up my evolves and use a lucky egg. So far the most I've got doing that in one sitting is 46,000.

I keep running out of pinaps too! Managed to get enough for my venosaur (as I'd already walked 174km with it!), but I doubt I'll get enough for a Meglanum which makes me so sad

Rudedog DH has become accustomed today to me muttering 'Bulbasaur' and disappearing. I've stopped worrying about looking bonkers.

Hatched 2 10k eggs -Dratini (Yay! powered Dragonite up) and Skarmory (Boo! Already got two).

Fail - 3 good Pokemon nearby and I thought I would go out after my cup of tea
Disappeared - I won't procrastinate again!

I have had a reasonable day.. Put Love thing on while DS did Tae kwon do ( its at a poke stop) it lasted an hour.

Caught a few bulbasaur
an execute and a few Chickorita.

Also got special item to evolve porygon.

The grass event is working here and we had a good day! Evolved sunflora, exeggcutor and kingdra and caught a porygon which were all new to me. I also have enough oddish for vileplume but I'm going to wait until I have enough to evolve another oddish into gloom first as my gloom is bobbins. Another phanpy from an egg, I've a herd of them!

I need another eleven bulbasaurs for venusaur so I'm hoping to see more of those tomorrow.

I live in a city and from what I've read on local social media the event is very location specific this time. It seems really good in some park areas, but a bit of a disappointment in the centre of town where there is normally lots of good stuff. And not in all parks either. There's a big park near me which is often good for Pokemon and sometimes has decent nests, but apparently there is nothing much there this event. I haven't had a chance to play much today so am planning to go further afield tomorrow.

I've read it's broken in many areas too especially cities so that's what happening here I guess. Ah well.

It was great yesterday for me, but I'm currently sat in the hairdressers next to a common, and it's all sentrets and natus.

We've had bugger all around here. Seriously, nothing exciting. I was hoping to catch enough eggsecute for an exxecutor but I've seen none.

I went for a long walk along the river and there were heaps of exxecute there. It seems to be very area specific. Now back home to my pidgey!

I think all Shuckles are low CP. I caught a 121 CP and it's almost maxed out.

Shuckles are more useless than magikarp.

I want a Shuckle just because it's cute But still haven't seen one

Well, I sat in a very grassy park all morning and caught.....one Snubbull. Literally nothing else spawned. This event has been rubbish around here. I did get two eggxecutes yesterday but they weren't anywhere grassy, so go figure!

We walked around the MetroCentre and caught loads!

spiderlight In the places that the event is working, grass Pokemon are increased everywhere, regardless of whether the area is grassy or not.

I'm in a water area and there's grass Pokemon everywhere here.

Well, some sunkern have stopped off at an appropriate watering hole.

I caught a wild exxecutor ! When does the event finish?

Back out shortly to carry on picking up the egg thingies! Hatched a porygon earlier, which was lovely. Better than the 5k egg natu yesterday ...
