Well done igneococus on completing Gen 1. Seems weird that you needed an aerodactyl when I have about 6! Shows how much it varies depending on where u live. All I've needed for months is a Tangela so like muddling I'm hoping to get one this event. Although I live near water and nothing new showing up on my nearby yet. Guess I'll have to go for a walk over the w/e although harder to do when family around. They think I'm mad playing.

I have three tangelas tumpymummy but like bumwad, I thought I never get an aerodactyl.
I always find it interesting what other players find rare. I'm also close to water and there are some pokemons that I don't even notice anymore, like I could catch 20 magikarps every day if i wanted (I do check if they are shinies now) but then went to the middle of Germany over Easter and didn't see a single one in the 9 days there. Or the poster who is walking a voltorb, there are two in my office half of each day (taking turns with magnites) and two more at the car park. I'm going to Florence for a few days at the end of the month, I'm curious to see what I find there.

It is interesting how he habitats vary. I am overrun with eevee's and nidorans. And aerodactyls are my common rare IYSWIM. Have only ever hatched one tangela and never seen a wild one.

I thought he event had started yesterday morning when I caught 3 chicoritas on my morning walk, but think it must be a neat!
My family also think I'm mad tumpy, when they saw me wearing the logo plus I got lots of raised eyebrows. Only one nephew understands.

There's an event on and yet I can't be arsed to participate in it. Sigh.

I caught a Meganium on the way back from yoga! It is a bit of a crap one though.

Igneococcus - I went to Florence in September and didn't see anything interesting - I was really quite disappointed. Whereas my friend went to Eastbourne and said it was great

No, that's not true. I live in a water area, very rarely see any grass Pokemon, but this weekend grass Pokemon are everywhere.

I'm not sure what's happened then I've checked and there's no update available. Been out for a walk and it's the usual mucrows, rattatas etc

No influx of grass pokemon over here. Juts rats and podgeys.

That's a shame I didn't have to update mine, so you're not missing anything like that. Very weird.

I'm very happy as I finally managed to get my venosaur! I've walked 174km with it and today's grass event allowed me to skip a load more walking for it Now I just have to find someone else to walk...

I've managed to get enough chikorita candy to do the 50 candy evolve. Now have to get 100 more

So jealous! Meganium is my favourite Pokemon ever. Seen a few but not a lot and ran out of pinap berries

Although I never evolve into a (rare) second form if there is a third without having enough to evolve all three, because by the time you get to be able to evolve a third time, you probably have a much better Pokemon in terms of IVs and stats than the one you initially evolved, if that makes sense?

Earlier today I had 3 Sunkern candy and 6 Chikorita candy. I now have 45 and 31 respectively. And I've walked Pineco far enough to evolve the rascal.

I've ordered a new phone, a Wileyfox Swift 2 Plus, 'cos it has a better spec than my current Alcatel Pixi4. A better battery for starters. It's going to be a long couple of days before it's delivered.

RudeDog Oh I'd love to see a Shuckle! Snubbulls are cute but they're literally everywhere in the wild where I am!

RudeDog Also, 'shadows' never went anywhere! You just didn't happen to bump into any Pokemon you hadn't yet caught.

Have caught loads of sunkern and exeggcutor, today.

And a few cynquadil at a decent nest we visited.

Ds1 went on a gym rampage, though, so I'm stuck with 2 dozen poorly pokies. I did have a lot more.

I wouldn'tmind, but we're only still in one of the 5 gyms we took down or trained up.

I think others have issues as well - I don't have that many in my pokedex and have been all over the area recently - not one!

On the negative my 10km egg was a Lavitar

Larvitar are great. They evolve into tyranitar, those big green beasts you often see on top of gyms.
