Pokemon Go #6: Where pokemon babies are abandoned in gyms at freezing temperatures

Well, saw this little one left overnight in a gym. Sad, really... Where are his parents? What were they thinking? Do they work night shifts too?

So many questions...

Ok I just left my rhydon in a gym at my train station, is it a bit sad that I said goodbye and told him to be good!

I finally got a Lickitung! Really by chance as well - pulled my phone out of my pocket to check bus times, didn't realise PoGo was still running, and saw the shadow on Nearby just as I quit the app. Restarted and legged it there to catch him. So now I'm just waiting for a Lapras and a Porygon from Gen 1, which I'm not holding out hope for but you never know...

Anyone else noticed it seems like there's more rare Pokemon/evolved Pokemon around recently? I've caught several Aerodactyls and Hitmonlees in the past few weeks.

Funny you should say that about the rarer stuff being out there more, I've seen more Rhyhorns, Vulpix, Ekans and a couple of others I can't think of recently than usual. Also seem to be seeing Haunters, and other than the Halloween event I don't think I've seen them in the wild.

Still never seen or hatched a Tangela though, yet I've seen and caught four Porygons and at least one Hitmonlee. Looks like I may need to travel further afield. :)

I'm now on 46 Togepi candy, so as soon as I've got enough coins for a upgrade to my pokemon storage I'll be doing a lucky egg session.

I agree that I've seen more rare/evolved Pokemon about recently. Caught an Omastar and Arcanine at work today. Never seen as much as a shadow of them before, can count on one hand the times I've seen Omanyte and Growlithe to be honest. Caught a Magmar for the first time on Saturday and then caught 2 more on Sunday. Evolved my Ekans today and found Doduo and Eggsecute spawns at the weekend. Up to 115 caught in the Pokedex including 3 babies, so still quite a few to go.

I caught an onyx in lounge on saturday and a Growthe was sat in my lounge when I turned my phone on the morning, caught a gloom on the way to school and then ds caught snorlax when we went out in car to get a pokestop .. It was only 789 CP but still nice to add to our other one so it doesn't get lonely.

I've got a child free afternoon. It's drizzling but tempted to head out to St Albans and walk the length of the high street and back- so many poke stops!

I wish gen 2 would come out now. All I need for the original dex is dragonite and tangela.

Oy and I just did a giant slew of transfers after a mass evolve yesterday!

But, hooray! Maybe I'll get that Smoochum after all!

Yay - hopefully DS will finally stop moaning about my Chansey that hatched on Christmas eve if he catches one himself. I bet we just get our usual houseful of Jigglypuffs though.

I only need to walk the dragonair 100km now! Hopefully I'll catch a couple too. If only tangelas were pink

Really, they wait to increase the candy until I only need four more Togepi candies. Bah! I've walked it up from 22 to 46!

On the plus side, I might get a second Chansey ready for gen 2, and the kids still need their first.

Eating If only Tangelas were pink - that was my first thought too! And then the damn about walking the candy. Although I was planning to walk Scyther next ready for gen 2, and he's 5k per candy as well, so maybe good timing after all. :)

I don't give a crisp about pink Pokemon the ones I need are not pink....but sOOOOOO happy about double candy. I've increased my storage!

Ah I wondered why I suddenly had lots of candy when I hatched a Goldeen earlier.

DS1 will be excited to evolve it when he gets in. :)

Better see if we can transfer any too. ..

Please tell me lickitung counts as a pink Pokémon! Maybe not adorable, but seems fairly appropriate for Valentine's Day... 😏

Oh and hitmonchan...always forget about her! Never seen her. Not even her shadow.

Apart from I do need a chancey. I am really pleased about the buddy. My dratini is my buddy and only on 53 candy so a long way to go..

Don't lose hope starlight, I found a wild dragonite at my local tram stop. Took approx 50 ultra balls. The family (well,DH) was not impressed.

Oh the opportunity to even see a Chansey! Or a Hitmonchan. Never seen even a shadow of either.

Also chuffed about the half distance for buddy candy as I'm only 4 candy from Alakazam.

Today's hatches: Weedle and Eevee. Fuxake.

I need a chansey so good news for me on the event. I rarely see clefable round these parts although I do have one.

Dunno what I'm going to do with a 6 hour lure though. It's a bit cold out

Ds1 has just emailed me to tell me he's caught himself a second porygon, outside Sainsbury's. Thankfully he's gone to pick up his, hopefully, repaired phone because I don't think the spare he's been using would cope with active lures everywhere!

And yes, less of an arduous task collecting omanyte candy, this week!

I have a Pokestop next to my house so I stuck a lure on it earlier. So far I have caught approx. 135118 Clefairies and a Zubat. People on my local FB group are reporting Porygons around, though, so I will keep hoping!

I've got a Lickitung in sightings as well, and have just done a dash to the nearest Pokestop to nab myself and DS our first Porygon. Got three Jigglypuffs, a Clefairy and a Mr Mime in the house.
