Well, saw this little one left overnight in a gym. Sad, really... Where are his parents? What were they thinking? Do they work night shifts too?

So many questions...

Had a great day today - got myself into two good gyms (it's almost impossible to find gyms for my team round here) and finished the Gen 1 pokedex after walking my omanyte for a really long time! Now I'm going to try and get one of each Pokemon with high IVs and the best moveset. I flipping love this game!

I suspect some spoofing at hand with the one at the Interchange, though - players at level 34! (The alternative is that they have much money and no life). I suspect the same about all the big yellow ones in the middle of Sunderland.

That's the one actually in Chester le Street, Mackem. Weekend sorted! (up to 38 kabuto candy, so could easily finish off, there, since there's usually 3 or 4 of whatever's spawning around at any one time, there.

I bumped into two fellow Team Mystic members yesterday at Barnes Park and we took down two yellow gyms. By the time I got on the bus they'd gone back to yellow, definitely a possibility of spoofers. I'm pretty sure one of the regular blue gym people is a spoofer, but haven't seen him in gyms as often as I did when I first started doing them.

We're instinct, but the Sunderland Instinct gyms are always big and full so no chance of a drive by or stand out in the cold and actually benefit by.

And yes, the 78 and 35 go past!

Hmm that thing of getting regionals sounds really tempting but I'm so paranoid! I think I've got everything except the regionals and a smoochum. I hatched a Lapras, which made me happy! And now that I finally hatched a Hitmonlee, I'm catching them left and right in the wild. What the heck.

I seem to recall once you get to level 30, the max cp for any critter caps out. Is that true? Not that I'm anywhere near level 30. I'm plodding along and getting close to 27.

Galen what do you mean by critters max CP caps out? I am on level 30 and have recently had a power up spree.

As for the regionals. The people who caught mine were amazing. It happened over 2 days. I enabled 2 step verification afterwards and change password but I suppose if they really wanted they could of accessed my other google accounts. They immediately told me they'd logged in and logged out though. Risky but all the other people on the groups reviews encouraged me and I'm so glad I have them!

First time I've seen even a glimpse of one, and I was on a bus and couldn't get it. gnargh.

@GalenJustGalen, I can definitely recommend the people on the Pokemon Go Regional Hunters Facebook page. They are very strict about vetting hunters and keep a close eye on who's on the page. The people I dealt with were fantastic, very quick and helpful.

Just bear in mind that you absolutely must be logged out for 10+ hours prior to them using your account AND 10+ hours after they have messaged you to say they logged out. No sneaky nipping in to admire your farfetch'd! :D

In other news, I'm catching everything that crosses my path and spinning the stop outside my work as often as I can to try and get enough points to level up to 30. Other than walking that wretched kabuto and waiting for a hitmonlee, my eurodex is nearly done.

All I've had since the Xmas event were 5km eggs. So this morning when my infinite egg hatched (a fucking Meowth) I used the 5 single use and the usual incubator and set them all off at once. Due to the boss at todays placement making a massive fuck up I had 3 hours break to get some km on. Eggs hatched were Meowth, Drowzee, Togepi (hurrah!), Ekans (only 4 candy to Arbok), Eevee and another Drowzee. I put another egg on and it was another Eevee. By the time the boss arrived to give me the paperwork he'd forgotten to give me I was 2.8km into the 8th egg of the day, a personal best.

I don't have work tomorrow, so the plan is to go to some place nearby where I've never hunted and hatch my last two eggs before spinning a Pokestop. Hopefully I'll get a mixture of eggs with new 'Mon in.

All I've had is 5k eggs too, and that's from a variety of stops. I've given up buying incubators for them now too because all I ever hatched was rubbish.

Yes muddling - new update fixed the stupidly long load time on my android phone, but when I tap my avatar to see if the distance is being logged it hangs

I won't get my Pokémon plus till march when stock comes back in.....the £50 ones on amazon seem more appealing now!

CantstandmLMs I'm under the impression that every critter has a pre-defined max CP meaning at some point you become unable to power it up any further and that number depends on what level it is, which in turn depends on what level you are when you catch it (e.g., you can catch a level 1 critter when you're level 20, but not a level 25 critter). And that all critters have not just a level-related CP cap but an absolute CP cap that tops out in level-30 critters. So even at level 40, the very best critters are still level 30.

I have no idea where I read that, or if it's even true. I read a ton of stuff very early on, some of which turned out to be either just speculation or utterly false.

Thanks to you & Pidgey for info/reassurance about the regional stuff. Might have to buck up and try it. I can manage the no peeking as long as I do it right before bed and then tell myself I'm not allowed to touch the phone the next morning until AFTER I've written something presentable for my writing workshop. That oughta do it, what with the writer's block and all.

Also, DoctorTwo, you hatched a Togepi from a 5k egg? That gives me hope for another! I must have two because I want to evolve one yet still keep the baby so I'm sure to have at least one of everythingggggg

I still buy incubators even though all I'm getting is crap. I tell myself it's worth it because all the walking is helping me stay in shape so it's practically the same as shelling out for a (real) gym membership. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

Ah, so not just me, Jaggythistle. Wonder how prevalent a problem it is. I did complete the feedback when it first crashed, so I hope enough other people have as well.

I've discovered that it's a bit temperamental though and will let me nosy at my medals and my buddy occasionally, but mostly it crashes.

I've had my second and third Dittos in the last two days. With yesterday's, I'd walked out of my way to claim some blooming Magikarp candy too! Tonight's "Pidgey" was more gratefully recieved

Yesterday I got an Electabuzz for the first time in over 4 months. A few hundred CP stronger than my old one which was one of my first to be over 1000 CP!

I've been knocked out of my gyms today for the first time in about 10 days. At least I've got chance to get back in in the morning and claim my coins ready for another incubator. It seems to have been quiet on the local circuit recently- maybe it's the weather!

I also need to save up for a lucky egg for a mass evolution.

Ah, thanks, myelfnameisffs. I tried it this morning and it still crashed, so yes, hope they can sort it soon. Seems an odd thing to go wrong, but I remember with a previous update that my and others crashed when catching a Weedle, so these things happen, and they fixed that one within a couple of days.

I'm trying to summon up some enthusiasm to go out for my daily walk somewhere, but the weather is awful. I might get a walk but I doubt I'll get to do much Pokemonning if it's raining as my phone screen doesn't like it.

Just bought a lucky egg and I have just done a mass evolve with 7 new types, and loads of critters.

Arghh nightmare!!

I'm gearing up for a mass evolve to take me into Level 31. Fortunately at 30 I got 3 lucky eggs and have 2 left!
Just have to walking 40km with my Omanyte and I'll have enough candy to include a new one to my dex.

Ds1 and I both have the crashing problem. Good job I still have another 60km to walk my kabuto!
