Pokemon Go #6: Where pokemon babies are abandoned in gyms at freezing temperatures

Well, saw this little one left overnight in a gym. Sad, really... Where are his parents? What were they thinking? Do they work night shifts too?

More rubbish hatches but got my steel and fire gold this week, aiming for rock next (24 to go!)

I'm losing heart a bit. I've levelled up to 29 and now only need a kabutops, lapras and aerodactyl to complete my euro dex. I'm walking a kabuto but as it's 5k per candy and I need 47 of them it feels a bit pointless. Only catching and hatching rubbish from eggs too.

DS was very excited this afternoon because our 10K egg hatched into this.

Me too Pidgey, I'm using it as a walking app now. I catch one in the morning, spin a pokestop to keep my streak going and I'm trying to fill the gaps in my dex by buddying up.That's about it though, I am surrounded by pidgeys, rats and weedles. Sometimes that's all the nearest pokestops have, hardly motivating me to get out and about.

I'll keep plodding on but for now the buzz has gone for me, it's like the game is tilted so heavily against rural players that it becomes unplayable. Zero 10 k eggs, well 7 in 29 levels, just a bit crap really.

I'll keep playing and keep plodding though.

When / what might the next event be? That might liven things up?

I am level 27 and feel the same Pidgey.

I have 490 pokecoins.. I did put myself on 2 gyms level 7 and 5 yesterday so I am on 4 gyms in places that don't get taken often.. 1 more often than the others.

Not really a lot to do..

Local group posted new nest movements and nothing I wanted anywhere.. so no motivation to do anything. I hope they release some more gen 2 soon ..

Pidgey, I've just levelled up to 29 too and only need Tangela, Aerodactyl, Snorlax and Kabutops to complete the Eurodex. I've hatched about a dozen 5k eggs in the past week or so but a Tangela still eludes me.

I've been using the game as a walking app from the off, that's why I started playing, so I like seeing the buddy candy climb up, albeit slowly at the moment as I'm also buddying Kabuto. I started with 17 candies and now have 32 in a couple of weeks, so it is starting to feel achievable, although some of that mileage was on the bus and car.

Interesting. Today was the first day in 6 months I couldn't really be bothered to play. I liked the extra incubators and the babies from recent events but the game now seems a full grind. It sounds like some others feel the same.

Dull not full.

I'm on level 29 now- it has taken me since the halloween to level up, so at this rate I should reach level 30 by June. 133 in pikedex with a few ready to evolve. My current buddy is a diglet as it needs the least amount of candies, then it will be duduo, vulpix, eggxecute and some other guy. I still don't have an aerodactil or a kabuto as well as a few others whose names currently elude me.

I did catch a wild pikachu playing with the snow in my garden tonight.

There's a few kabuto nests in Glasgow for anyone looking who is nearby?

Glasgow is a bit of a trek for me as I am in Kent. Although that would get all my eggs hatched for sure! Who knows, might even get a 10k egg on my way there.

Just read on a local FB group that there's a Kabuto nest at Bents Park in South Shields. Yay!

There used to be a Kabuto nest on my bus route home. I think it's something else now, but I snaffled up enough to get my Kabutops a while back.

Porygons, though - where the bloody hell are they? Never seen, never hatched, never even spotted on Nearby. If I hadn't seen one in a gym once I'd refuse to believe they existed.

Oh good, glad it's not just me! I think it's a bit of gen1 fatigue. Having the events gave me something extra to do but now I'm back to catching krabbys it's all gone a bit stale. There never seem to be any decent nests near me either (east London).

53 I have three porygons which have just popped up near my work over the last few months. They don't seem to appear too often.

Abra hatched last night. Nidoran today. Fed up

53rd I've got four Porygons, all of which I caught on buses so the kids were a bit miffed I couldn't get one for them.

Good day today. Hatched a Tokepi so now only missing Magby of the new babies, and caught two Magmars. Turns out that one of the parks just out of town is a nest in the change. :) I now also have almost 34 Kabuto candies, so only need to catch four on a nest visit to get my Kabutotops.

Oddly enough I caught a Porygon on the bus too (I had my DS's phone so he was OK!). I hatched the other.

Tangela and Aerodactyl are my bugbears. I've never seen a shadow of Tangela and only twice got a glimpse of Aerodactyl shadows.

I think I know which park you mean, Mackem. DS1 and I will be catching the E1, in the morning, weather permitting!

The only baby I have is still a Magby. DS1's had a lot more luck with them than me.

Other than those, still need Kabutops, Omastar, Snorlax, Dragonite, Chansey and Porygon. And I'm only 200KXP off level 31

PickAChew, according to the map there is a Bents Park and a Bents Exhibition Park, so please let me know which one it was. I haven't managed to get there yet, maybe tomorrow or Tuesday. :)
