Pokemon Go #6: Where pokemon babies are abandoned in gyms at freezing temperatures

Well, saw this little one left overnight in a gym. Sad, really... Where are his parents? What were they thinking? Do they work night shifts too?

So many questions...

NO babies here

No lapras, snorlax, dragonite either

Just pre-ordered (why can't it just be back in stock?!) the go plus from Nintendo! I wasn't sure I wanted one for ages but now I really do...

Also Wheezing just popped into my living room!

I've been gallantly hatching at least 9 eggs a day, refilling my egg inventory every evening, and I haven't had a 10k egg since January 4! Bah!

However today I hatched a Lickitung, which I'd never seen before, from a 5k egg, and also caught a Blastoise in my kitchen. So it wasn't a total loss.

Catching every rat, pidgey, and bat I see in hopes of eventually landing a Ditto.

In better news though - I did catch a Ninetails today thanks to the nearby! I was walking during my lunchbreak and it popped up about 10 mins away.

And I need to catch one more Bellsprout for Victreebel.

I got a new one for pokedex today Hitmonchan...So was very pleased... I need to Sandshrew candy to evolves and He has been my budy since before Christmas so ready for a change...Think it will be a grimer.

I've caught two Doduos near my house - grassy/parky area, on a hill. Never seen them anywhere else other than hatched.

I caught one doduo is Spain, hatched one and one just randomly turned up.

I have a bit of a problem- my bag is full. I have been using buses to get to work lately and have been hitting pokestops from them. I even expanded my bag up to 550 items. And yet I am still stressing about running out of balls.

Today's hatches :
Geodude and Zubat (2k)
Psyduck, ponyta, poliwag (5k)
Omanyte (10k)
Still no new babies

I caught one Doduo really early on in the local park. Hatched one that came with 20+ candies and then walked it for miles until I had enough candy to evolve it.

Within two weeks I hatched another with 15 candies

Similar happened today after walking my Ponyta for 70+km to evolve it on Sunday - only to catch a 900CP one at work!

I have a 600 sized bag and I'm finally at the stage where I need to discard red balls in favour of blue ones. It seems so wrong, the alternative is throwing them at any 'mon that wanders across my path so I I'm going to try very hard to do that. Over Christmas I was worried about running out of balls and I was been picky about what I tried to catch so if it didn't contribute to a badge I walked right past it.

Hi all can I (re) join? Posted for a bit back in August when I started playing with DD & DD then lost interest. The recent events were great though and we've all started playing in earnest again.
Bit sad the startermon event has finished though, we are right back to boring Pidgeys, Spearows & Rats on my walk to work
We had a Doduo nest near a stream in a local park for a while but we're now getting Pikachu spawning there so not complaining!

Looks like I'll have to start hanging round the local parks in case a Doduo turns up.

IVe got two portable chargers now.....bit excessive?

I have a Tauros in my local gym. I'm in then UK.

I have 2 5200mAH chargers, now from a full battery I can hunt for about 9 hours solid. Not that I'd ever think of doing that. The only things I caught of note today was an Abra, so I'm now 57% of the way to Alakazam and a Doduo, which means I can evolve Dodrio..

Evolved this little trio today.

Also took a gym and prestiged it really quick using advice from here and silph road. Used under half CP battlers of lowest 'mon and yep, powered it up 1k every round to L4. I would have kept going if I had the time. Took me 20 mins.

Finally evolved a Dugtrio today now walking Geodude. Just 2 candies left until I get my Golem.

Woah.... spooky snitcheryoo!

Hi all - haven't posted for ages. I've got 4 of the babies (2 x pichu) but most of my hatches are pants. I have stacks to evolve but am holding out for another event. Don't know why - I think it's wishful thinking! I'm starting to fill up with pokes so I need to do something.

Anyway, my 6yo DD has got right into pogo. I think I mentioned before she's using an old phone to play and it was only a few weeks ago it occurred to me I could put her on my hotspot and she could come out hunting with me. Well she's been getting some real results! Level 16 already. She caught a charmeleon during the last event (which ran away from me), then on NYE a lickitung appeared at my house which she caught (that also bloody ran away from me) ... then with the handful of eggs she got she hatched a bloody Togepi! How?!

Despite all this we have a good little system going now where when I'm driving her home from school she's monitoring the nearby's. Tonight, when chasing a ponyta, which never materialised, we caught a sandslash which was a new one for both of us and then after catching a magicarp, another randomly appeared in the same spot - only 10 cp - caught it and it turned into the first ditto catch for us both. Well happy.

Fun as this sounds this chase for the bloody ponyta culminated on the beach in a bracing wind, in the dark, with an unhappy 3 year old in tow! Parent of the year!!!
