Hello you lovely lot. Nowt new today, but at least I caught a couple of Squirtles and have enough candy to get Wartortle, so that's 4 to add to my Pokedex when I do a Lucky Egg mass evolve.

Just did a double lucky egg evolve. 271000 from it! 45000 from level 31 now!

BumWad · 30/11/2016 02:28

Double XP and stardust is most definitely over!

ZebraOwl · 30/11/2016 07:27

It is very VERY cold here this morning. Frost-cm-thick. But a kabuto appeared in Seen Nearby when I opened the game this morning. Checked PokéTracker; changed from (Pokémon) PJ bottoms to jeans; hastily fed my very confused cats; & galloped off to try to catch it.

Amazingly, The Donkey of Destiny showed a bit of Equine Solidarity for once & it was a 10CP instacatch>Prof. Now have 47 kabuto candy & will be keeping an eye out in case it pops up there again. Am walking one of my kabutos (or should they be kabutoes?!) but they're 5k/candy, so...

And now I need to go & neb, because the warm>freezing>warm air contrast has sent my lungs bananas. Lovely...

It is bitter out there - a good deterrent from taking gyms down!

I netted 170,000XP in the end last night and am now only 70k off L30. Walking kabuto in hopes it will prompt a few to show up and speed things up!

derektheladyhamster · 30/11/2016 08:12

It's interesting to see which Pokemons are rare around the country. Here in Brighton, as soon as you hit the city you are falling over magnetrons I can catch about 50 easily! and voltorbs. In certain parts clefairy is everywhere.

Igneococcus · 30/11/2016 09:01

Same here at my work place derek (west coast Scotland) there are always magnetrons and voltorbs around, my office has resident magnetrons and voltorbs, often two of each at the same time but they are also in the car park, the stair cases. But I have never even seen the shadow of a Lapras or an Aerodactyl, only once a Snorlax, and bulbasaurs or squirtles, I see maybe once every 2 weeks.

MuddlingMackem · 30/11/2016 09:24

In Sunderland Mr Mime and Jynx are ten a penny, although in my early days on these threads I was bemoaning not having seen a Jynx when I'd seen loads previously for the kids.

Currently Magnetron, Jigglypuff and Clefairy pop up pretty often too.

PickAChew · 30/11/2016 09:38

Newcastle city centre is alwYs full of krabby, clefairy, and both nidoran.

Hartlepool is a hotbed of magnemite and voltorb, particularly around the headland.

Durham often has diglet, which I rarely see anywhere else, and Slowpoke, as well as various watery Pokémon.

Chester le Street, around the marketplace, is particularly reliable for staryu.

PickAChew · 30/11/2016 09:39

Never have any trouble finding squirtles, either.

Dillite2 · 30/11/2016 10:09

Count yourself lucky. In Medway you only see a lone bulbasaur or charmander once in a blue moon, I have never seen a kabuto or that two headed bird or a diglett around here. Same for Snorlax, Lapras, or dratini. Voltorbs and Magnetons are also rare. Loads of mr mime and crabby though!

Starla268 · 30/11/2016 10:44

Dillite, no although it was tempting!

Derek, also near Brighton and have noticed the abundance of magnetons when we do a trip down there. Where do you have to be for the clefaries out of interest? DH reckons there are quite a few rare ones about in Lewes so we're planning a walk there soon.

Our little town seems to have changed recently as to what is common - used to be tons of zubats but now hardly any and all of a sudden our park is overrun with kabutos - wonder if some of it changes as we level up?

Icouldbeknitting · 30/11/2016 10:56

The spawns change every so often, I walk the same route round a park twice a week. When I was there on Monday it was wall to wall Bulbasaur, before that it's been Duoduo, Diglett, Sandshrew and I forget what else. Right when I started going there I got in on the tail end of the Charmander nest, I'm hoping that it cycles round again before I've finished walking the legs off my buddy.

spiderlight · 30/11/2016 11:51

I remember being wildly excited when DS and I caught our first Mr Mime on a day-trip to Hay-on-Wye in the summer. Now we get twenty or so spawning in the house every day! We also live on an Evee nest so we both have umpteen good Vaporeons etc. Never seen even the shadow of a Snorlax or Lapras, hatched an Aerodactyl but never seen one wild. Never seen a Bulbasaur either apart from one that spawned and despawned instantly a few weeks back when I was out with the dog. I was gutted!

dementedpixie · 30/11/2016 11:58

There is a local loch that I walk round and it changes its nest every 2 weeks or so. Currently has bulbasaur so I caught over 20 today, although 7 ran away and I'm almost out of balls! It is due to change in the next few days so hoping for something good. Prior to that it has been exeggcute, charmander, diglett and magikarp.

tumpymummy · 30/11/2016 12:08

Demented I'm jealous! I really need bulbasaur and they never spawn where I am. There is a park where I have heard they occassionally appear, but have never been there when I am. DD has a dance lesson tomorrow so I am going to hang around for an hour in the hope one appears! I have 9 more pokemon left to get on my pokedex and the last 7 that I can evolve are taking forever.

WeedlesHatOfDisappointment · 30/11/2016 12:18

Dh and I both caught our Lapras on Littlehampton beach. It was during the summer though, so spawn spots may have changed

CantstandmLMs · 30/11/2016 13:07

Caught quite a variety on a quick trip to town this morning! I placed my Rhydon In a gym and walked off and what spawns in front of me but another Rhydon! Caught that then a little later a Pikachu!...also a Voltorb and Diglet amongst a few others. All things I've already caught but just the pure variety and things I don't often see was a nice change!

PickAChew · 30/11/2016 13:23

O think the nests are due to change again in the next day or so. Saw somewhere that migrations seem to be every 13 days, lately.

Dillite2 · 30/11/2016 14:28

My egg tracker is off. I walked for more than an hour, but it only registered 300m.

MuddlingMackem · 30/11/2016 14:51

Oh drat, really, PickAChew? I could do with a few more visits to Cleadon Park before they change but don't think I'll get back before next week. Unless it changes to Bulbasaur, in which case I'll be okay about it. LOL!

Oh, by the way, if you're ever over Seaburn way make sure to go up to Latimers, often a few bits there. I got a Pikachu yesterday and a Bulbasaur and an Exeggcute today. :)

IhatchedaSnorlax · 30/11/2016 14:54

That's so annoying Dil - I hate it when that happens!

CantstandmLMs · 30/11/2016 15:04

Caught a growlithe just now. I've only caught one before!

JellyWitch · 30/11/2016 15:25

Has anyone else noticed a massive drop in spawn rates today? I didn't get out at lunch, admittedly, but I am starting to stockpile balls again!

MuddlingMackem · 30/11/2016 15:28

JJellyWitch, could it be that you're stockpiling balls because you're no longer catching every rat and Pidgey in sight hoping for a Ditto?

Or is that just me? Grin

JellyWitch · 30/11/2016 16:08

Nope, I'm catching everything (even jynx, krabby and spearow!)
