Hello you lovely lot. Nowt new today, but at least I caught a couple of Squirtles and have enough candy to get Wartortle, so that's 4 to add to my Pokedex when I do a Lucky Egg mass evolve.

I picked up a Ditto from a Magicarp on the first (red) ball today. I was walking along with the kids and almost didn't notice!

Nothing else new for ages and ages though.

No Ditto for me :( Caught every single vermin 'mon that came my way except for two rats that escaped. Sod's law that one of them was Ditto.

On the plus side, I got another 10k egg today - that's the 5th one in three days!

Got my Ditto from a single pidgey and only one ball!

Have jumped up to level 25, going to do a mass evolve session tonight.

At what point do they transform into Ditto?

Once you catch it, 'oh' appears above the ball, there is a purple screen animation and it shows ditto

I didn't see mine happen as ds caught it in the car. It didn't come up on his screen so he was gutted he didn't get it too

I want a ditto! It's not fair! Out of all that vermin, not a single ditto.

If you use a lucky egg during the event, do your double points double up again?

I haven't got a Ditto yet. Very sad.

Spent a happy half hour this evening swapping a gym about, was back and forth, I could see the other battlers by the glow of the phone in the car , was a DC after school activity so had time to burn. At one point I put a 17cp wheedle in for fun, he didn't last long .
No ditto here even though I've filled up my store three times today and have had to grind umpteen vermins to make space and buy more balls.

I've almost run out of balls, and still no ditto...

Just spent 30 minutes with a lucky egg evolving a load of new creatures for my dex. Now at 117 but still no lapras, bulbasaur or snorlax! Managed to rack up 70,000 points and levelled up to 26.

Still walking my doduo as I nearly have enough to evolve it and haven't seen any at all in this country.

Any suggestions who I should have as my next walking buddy? I had magikaep, but his work is done. I've currently selected bulbasaur, but not sure its the best option.

So glad I read this thread-DCs were accusing me of powering up without telling them How on earth can they remember what all our CPs were? Does anyone know a good IV calculator that's still working after the CP changes?

Ditto has been added ( greyed out) on my pokedex because I saw one in a gym but haven't caught one yet !

Evolved a kabuto into a kabutops today , scary looking thing !

Can anyone give me any tips for gym battles please?

I struggle getting my Pokemon to do their superpower thing. My snorlax will sometimes body slam but not every time. So I'm tapping like mad doing normal stuff then do a tap and hold trying fornthe body slam. Sometimes it works, sometimes nothing.

My other Pokémon are probably even worse.

Is that normal?

weedles.. I tend to go for what I might be able to evolve with walking.. I currently have a squirtle so I can do top evolve..
Bulbasur needs about 10, belsprout needs 5 for top evolve and Oddish needs 15 so they are likely to be next.

Must have caught in excess of 30 ratatta and pidgey. No ditto. Almost running out of balls.

On other news I've hatched a tangela. It's a freaking miracle.

136 on dex with 137 ready to go. But now 143 to be had. Oh well.

I need to know IVs too as I need to transfer a load of stuff after I didn't manage to catch ditto today. Caught more pidgeys than ever today, but no. Battled with a very laggy app today too. Game kept freezing or loading without pokestops, very annoying. Only positive today was that I did manage to gain quite a lot of XP to help me through my level.

queenmorto your body slam won't work all the time. You have to wait for it to recharge before u can do it again. The second bar underneath, made up of one or two longer blocks needs to fill up before you can tap and hold it. Think that's right, if that makes sense?
