I'm also tempted to buy some incubators for this weekend. I've been reluctant so far cause my eggs are always rubbish but today I've collected a 10k one.

Think I'll go back to green park after work on Saturday. I'm embarrassed to admit I won't tell dh or he will kill me. Might tell him I'm meeting a friend for dinner. Do any of you want to be that friend?

I'm on 90 candy for dratini, 75 for charmander and 76 for belsprout. So close yet so far!

Furtyferret I hatched a Doduo today, first one I've ever seen. I was well pleased. :)

Thanks to my evolve session last night and the Halloween event bonanza for catching I've actually gone up to level 20, although I'm finding 50,000 XP a daunting prospect for the next level.

I thought that as a lot of my walking over the two days was alongside a river or at the seaside I'd be inundated with Magikarp but no, in total I saw three!! And I could only catch two of them as the third was so close to a Pokestop that every time I tried to click on it I could only get the Pokestop. Not happy. Going to have to do a fair bit of walking over the next few days somehow to make the most of the 4x buddy candy, I need 125 for an Alakazam and have 44, so need to get as much more as I can.

I had a mass evolve session which gave me 37k xp. Nowhere near as much as some of you get but I also do not have the variety of pokemon that some of you have. I did get an Ivysaur thanks to the reduced walking candy and a Sandslash thanks to the double candy from the hatched eggs. So not too shabby overall.

I just caught a Gengar which is a new one. That's three new ones in 2 days without playing outside of the house. Not bad.

Hatched a magicarp and and oddish today, both great cause of the extra candies and I don't seem to see many oddish around, have enough to evolve hunter and gloom now.

Also took the local gym down from level 9 to 8 pretty certain it's back to 9 lv10 now but had some good battles with some of my new pokemon. Stocked up on ball and eggs today have 4 2km eggs which will hopefully hatch quickly with extra candy.

I am slightly disappointed, we seemed to be getting the odd squirtle/bulbasaur nearby but none since the event started.

I am now on 115 caught and 9 bingo lines. I don't care for the seen ones since they have started including what's seen in a gym as seen.

Right I'm gonna buy the £7.99 coin package too and get a load of incubators. Gotta make the most of this weekend!

I am very jealous of all them Charmanders.

Hatched a Sandshrew today with 27 candies so now have enough to evolve it. Getting the odd rattata and magikarp but other than that it's all ghastly, gengars, cubones and meowths.

With all the candy over the past couple of days I've managed to get myself five new Pokemon through evolutions which is great, but now I'm on 124 caught I'm getting a sense of foreboding; like what will I do with my life once I've caught them all?!

Bags I be the last person to catch a Pikachu. It's my only chance at fame. Never even had a sniff of one.
Are you all a bit geeky and obsessive or is it just me? I get so much fun from playing this game and everything I know just thinks I'm mad.

Just spent real money. Swore I never would but just the 550 coin pack. Got 3 incubators.

I'm at 128 in the pokedex and have two more new ones to evolve: male nidoran and oddish.

Just nursing the toddler to sleep and I shall go through today's gains. Run some IV checks, crunch some into candy. I've got a tonne of potions and revives to play with now (had been running low) so can tackle some of the bigger local gyms (new homes for the eggecutor and Charizard).

Tomorrow's goal is stalking abra round the outskirts of Buckingham Palace! I want those double candy, even if it means a lunch break waking up and down the road

In London today and can confirm despite the Halloween 'mon, there's still charmanders in Green Park , Magmars in Hyde Park and we caught 3 pinsirs in succession just behind Embankment (lures on the 4 pokestops there constantly too).

I had a massive evolve session thanks to all the extra candies and Charmanders. here are my newbies and i am now on level 29 and 42000 through that already.

I just levelled up to level 31 with a lucky egg mass evolve I got 80,000 exactly including one new Pokemon - an Alakazam

I forgot to look how much XP I need to get to level 32 . Probably best

I like to think I'm enthusiastic rather than obsessive. I just get really into things. I also love scrabble and tennis and can be 'obsessive' about playing those too. I'm good at finding things I enjoy. My kids think I'm a bit bonkers but in an affectionate and not too patronising way.. We all had an absolute blast playing PokemonGo in the summer with lots of 1am gym runs driving around the countryside so I can blame them for getting me hooked.
My kids grew up on Pokemon and will still play cards or Pokemon Stadium on the N64 even though they are meant to be sophisticated (haha) adults.

Even if we are all a bit daft we are not doing harm to anyone and it's healthy and dirt cheap. I'm sure DH rather I play PokemonGo than do other traditional naff housewife'y pastimes like getting my hair done or going for lunch.

It is clever how the game appeals to so many age groups. I wonder if they anticipated that 52 year old women like me would be playing.

How onbearth did you get 80 000 from an evolve session? Did you have loads of new pokemon to add?

I'm 42. First time in my life I've been so into a game for so long.

Queen - awesome new ones. I want them. And you've flown past 28! Oh my. I'm 30k into 28 so 10% still.

Indeed - I'm 57 (can't actually believe that). My DD was born the year Pokémon started and has been a big fan all her life. I remember a lovely club someone started when she was early teens for Pokemon players, such nice kids. But now I'm beating her! [evil cackle].

I'm a 'woman' (still don't think of myself as one) of 28. Myself and my best friend were heavily into Pokemon cards when we were around 11/12. Wish I'd kept them all now! This game is so nostalgic for me, I'm absolutely addicted and not ashamed to say it!!

I'm 29 and haven't played a game for this long since Candy Crush, although I am mostly playing for dd.
