I'm new to this thread - I have a question about evolving eevees - when I started playing I did the trick with the renaming eevees so that I had one of each of the evolutions. Since that stopped working I have made nothing but flareons (6 in a row now). I have a friend who has similarly evolved nothing but jolteons since they got the first three.

Is it just coincidence, or is it possible to get stuck just making one thing?

I didn't get a flareon until the wondrous Halloween event, until then I kept accruing jolteons and vaporeons until I had about 20 million squillion of each. Now I have one (shit) flareon but I think persistence is key!

Level 22 bought a magic egg, did my evolving then realised hadn't cracked the egg would have moved to level 23.

Does anyone know if tangela / chancey / hitmonlee / lapras can be caught? I've got a fat chance of hatching them and soon they will be the last 4 I've got left. This means the game will be pretty much dead for me if I'm depending on my crap eggs.

Good question Nutella. A lapras ran away on me once when we were on holiday (my DSs still haven't forgiven me for not catching it as it had a high CP also) but not seen the others to catch & not a hint of a lapras since!

We're now on level 26 & have caught 113.

What's happened to spawning points? Mine has moved overnight from the end of the drive to right down the end of the back garden. Still accessible from the house I'm pleased to say but I see on Twitter that some people who previously had 3 or 4 in easy reach have now lost them all.

Oh no, longtimelurker that's really sad. The guy behind FPM was so clever and determined. I cant believe Niantic are so short sighted. I didnt use FPM all the time, but when I did it definitely enhanced play. I think Niantic will lose a lot of players again, especially now Halloween is over.

Talluhah You wait, the levels just get more and more rediculous. And between 20 and 25 when you do eventually level up you dont get much for your troubles anyway.

On the positive side maybe I'll actually get some work and housework done now. They have been rather neglected over the last week!

I see from reading FPMS find Reddit post it us because the spawning points have been changed that us algorithms no longer work.

If only Niantic could see how it enhances the game for so many of us.

Aaah just caught up on the fact that FPM isn't working.

However Niantic have released the Nearby Pokemon feature in some areas.

To be honest with you I hadn't missed FPM when it was done, the times I did try to use it it wouldn't load fast enough.

Some of you lot have caught some good uns in the wild! I'm slightly jealous.

Well I have just discovered something.

Been powering up my Dragonair before I evolve it thinking I will get a better Dragonite.

However look at my IVs. It was higher pre powering up!!

I caught an amazing lapras! Amazing to me because almost all mine are shit. I think I powered her (him?) up.

Awesome devil! Where did you catch it? I'm hoping if the spawns are better I might have a chance to find something new especially in London. Otherwise it's a long wait until the second gen comes out and I don't think I can keep myself interested!

No sodding internet at home atm as the only transmitter my 4G dongle picks up has packed up, so am updating from the car. My 10k egg hatched a Jynx, meh, caught loads of 'em. Seen nothing new for days, not even shadows.

my Lapras' were both August babies. one from a 10k egg and another caught wild.

never seen another.

Any one else seem to be finding it easier to catch them today? I've caught about 7 (nothing particularly interesting among them) and all but one only took one ball. Maybe last night's changes have helped?
