Wondering what happens if midway through a candy when it goes back to normal? Will it just count the distance walked, or the percentage of the candy earned? Enjoying this extra!

So so close. Why do I have to be at work? 4 more candies needed. Argh.

I now have 2 pokemon in gyms! And I even managed to collect 20 coins today.

I posted this as a separate thread but didn't get any replies... hope it's ok to add on here to see if anyone has the solution?

DD started an account on my iphone in July. She got to level 15 or so and when it updated the account seemed to have vanished. She couldn't remember if she'd started a trainer account or gmail but no recovery attempts were successful so we abandoned it and started again.

Last week I was playing and it logged out for another update. I was sure of the 2nd username / password and didn't think much of it. When I tried to log back in, it kept saying username / password incorrect and locked out. I did a username recovery and weirdly it has taken me back to the 1st account.

I've tried several attempts at recovery. It recognised the username of the second account and lets me update password, but time and again it locks me out as username / password incorrect.

We've got the 1st account but DD really wants the 2nd one back as she was at a higher level, had much better Pokemon including 4 evolved Evees and another 5 in waiting.

Any ideas on how to possibly delete the 1st account entirely and recover the 2nd?

Yea it's my only Dragonair, I've powered it up it's now on 635CP, appraisal stats are quite good although it says it's small. Is small or big good?

Gonna go for a walk with DS to the park will get a couple of km in for another power up I'm mega excited about getting my first Dragonite it's gonna be an event!

bumwad try an iv calculator site. I did for my only dragonair and it gave me 95.6% perfect I think so I focused on him. I'm not sure if "size matters" in this context

sandunes try the help part of the pokemon go site. I've emailed complaints before and there's a bit about closing accounts etc. Just remember 2 accounts is against their rules, so word it well!

Someone told me at one point to email regarding lack of 10k eggs as you get one next. Decided to try and got one, fucking jinx. I think that's karma but worth trying if anyone wants to power through the last day of extra candy.

Lazy cow avatar has now got me a dratini candy at work. Couldn't have imagined how far I'd get with this event!

I just read an awesome too for if, like me, you constantly run low on revives.

If you can spare the stardust and candy: power up your fainted Pokemon. This restores enough HP to bring it round and you can heal it up with potions. Only worth it with Pokemon you care about enough to justify the stardust obviously.

I'm far too happy about this, I know, but I've gone from needing to walk my dragonair 410km as a buddy pre event to now needing 90km! I've gone from having 18, needing 82 to having 82 and needing 18. So pleased and hoping to get one or two more before midnight.

It hasnt ended.....were we sure about the end date? It hasnt been a full week yet.

Twitter says midnight today. I'm hopeful.

I'm not sure if midnight is our time or what Nutella did it say? i'm not planning additional walks for candy, not me, oh no

I Googled iv calculator and this came up. This is what I used.

Just been out and hatched my 10km egg. Got a scyther caught a wild one really early in the game so a bit disappointed it's not a snorlax!

Home now and need 1.2km more on my 5km eggs. Might have to do an additional walk later on lest I lose out on double candy! Also only 3 candies away from my arbok, would rather do 2.25km than 9!

I got a 10k egg today.. I also have changed to a ponyta as my buddy today to get a few more candies before it is over.

Id love a Scyther. got a 10k egg for the first time in weeks.

How do you all manage with collecting coins? I've been getting mine when I wake at 6, wasting 3 hours. Last night I woke to pee around 3 and thought 'Aha!'. Turned on phone and found the countdown was on 10 seconds! Wonder if I made myself wake at just the right time? So now I'll be able to collect again at 11 tonight, then 8 etc and get many more coins in for my 2 who've been stuck in remote gyms forever!

I always collect first thing. I find gyms hold better if I take them last thing at night or if I want to grab one in the morning just before I claim (took 2 at 9 and 10.30 yesterday and another at 6.30am on the way to work!). I lose 3 hours but can claim on more usually. If I was just collecting on remote stable gyms then I would certainly claim every 21.

60 charmander candy from lunchtime. And I am still in 9 gyms!!

Hmm. If the event is still on this evening, when I have to take my kids to an hour long activity, I'm debating whilst they're there whether to walk as much as possible for the hour for buddy candy, or camp out at a local pokestop with a lure.

Hatched a pickachu!

Just been out again to 'get DD to nap'. Hatched a goldeen, rhyhorn, ghastly and caterpie. Rhyhorn the only good one - with that and enough km on ekans and sandshrew I now have rhydon, arbok and sandslash. I gave in and evolved to raichu too. Now on 111 caught. Glad I went back out!!

Finally walked far enough to evolve my Abra into a Kadabra which again is new to me changed my buddy to Grimer as I'm 4 candies away from a Muk.
